Due to medical reasons (I went to many doctors and specialists), they did not think HRT was for me. Dr Ritch put me on a low dose anti anxiety medicine and an estradiol insert. Both have been life changing. She is super knowledgeable on menopause...which is nearly impossible to find. On top of that, she is personable and takes her time with her patients. I've only had to go once a year, so at the end of the day it's not a make or break it situation. She responds quickly to my emails through their web app, and always gets any paperwork I need completed done as soon as possible. The ultrasound technician is very sweet and accommodating. They also use a program that allows her to text all the images she took during the ultrasound to you and whomever else you want. I have been going to Dr. Bass since 2016, and he's delivered both of my children. I had C-sections both times, and the medical staff always comments on how great a job he did stitching me up (must be a nurse/doctor thing). I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bass. Then I had another medical issue, called in and the staff was not only not empathetic or caring whatsoever, but they hung up on me and never called back. So, I'm done. Hope it was worth hiring these subpar front desk people, they've lost a patient who has been going there for at least 10 years and used to always refer people there. Definitely not anymore. Because i worked for a municipality my retirement included health care if medicare doesn't cover. I told that to the office but they refused to bill that insurer. So i called medicare and yes i got to speak to a rep who said my obgyn is wrong. My card is valid. I called my obgyn back and they still insisted it isn't and wanted a reference no for the call. I said cancel appt and i got another dr. My question is why are they even calling to find out if its valid if no visit occurred yet. My appt was for next week. My next question is if in fact my medicare was inactive why would they refuse to bill my secondary from the city. I'm so upset. I'm a 66 almost 67 without insurance per my obgyn ???????

I was told I had to wait 30 minutes to be verified. And made to feel badly because I have messed up the schedule. If they need it that badly they should tell you to bring your physical card with you so it can be scanned. During my 30 minute wait the other 3 ladies in the waiting room also fessed up that they did not have a physical card with them either. However none of them were scolded like I was. My appointment was at 11, I showed up at 11. I left at 12:40 Normally I'm early but it's 2 days before Christmas and traffic and people driving just crazy this morning! However I figured returning patient I didn't need to fill out a stack of paperwork, right? Wrong I had to fill everything out again as if I was a new patient. IDK why they can't just email that to you before your appointment. Oh and the 3 other ladies without their insurance cards no they were not all still waiting which makes me think they were already running behind and just took it out on me because I was one more issue. And what ever you do don't forget your medical card they need to physically scan it not just see a copy or a picture in your phone.

After the iud was placed I started feeling side effects. It was then decided that the iud should be removed because I was reacting to the "slight amount of hormones that are in the bloodstream". I asked if they would be able to order the new iud. They told me they could not order it until I signed paperwork. When I got there and had the old iud removed and signed paper work I asked if I could schedule the insertion. They stated that they could not schedule it until the new iud was in. At this point there had been 3 appointments and 3 copays. They told me that I needed an annual exam. I asked if the iud could be put in that day...no. 4 appointments, 4 copays, 0 effective iud. I understand that it is protocol to wait until the device is in to schedule but this process would have taken 5 months. Anyone with a new baby at home and any semblance of a life would find this process both tedious and difficult to make happen.
