There's no airs and graces or anything like that. It's just a good boozer with friendly staff, easy-going crowd and decent food (look out for the chicken kiev, chips & beans combo - probably can't be beaten). It's the sort of place you can go for a quick drink after work, a longer 5-10 drinks after work or if you can't face being at your desk for 1 minute more and desperately need some lunch.

This place did not really have much of an atmosphere. It has the usual TV screens which thankfully was not on at the time, but you missed at least some music to fill the empty background. The barman said it gets very busy on a Thu / Fri / Sat night. I had a quick half of ale which at 1.50 was average priced. They had a small selection of beers (Stella, Fosters, Carlsberg) on tap. Really nothing special. I guess I just did not like this place.

our little bar at uni! always open, always there to welcome us after 2 hard hours listening and…read moreconcentrating in class. the booze is pretty cheap, after all we are only students and there are two pool table to play with. they sell small snacks but there is also a snack bar in the same block and a shop selling necessary god that you can't live without (pen, tee shirts, cigarettes, kitkat bars etc.) keep an eye on the myspace page to check out the planned gigs but there is usually something every friday night. itis pretty lively and a good place to go with friends for a bit of a party. and because it is lost in trent park, there are no neighbours to annoy so the party can go on and on and on. this also makes the place hard to reach. there is a free bus running for the tube station to there but make sure you don't miss the last otherwise you will end up having to trot in the forest for 10-15 minutes to go home.
