Most younger guys carry a bag of some sort. If you are like me I need a bag for the wallet, sun glasses- reading glasses , phone and all the loyalty cards. There is also a good range of travel luggage at reasonable prices and in bright colours. Your bag won't be lost in a sea of black and blue at the airport going around in circles on the conveyor belt...you could be a hot pink or a dashing red and easily pick up your bag and be first to hit the taxi rank. ( oh girls : wear matching shoes....never know who you might meet!) The sales assistant at the store is always very pleasant and helpful. She knew exactly what I was talking about when wanting to buy a secure travel wallet today. There is also a reward card available and every time you spend a dollar you receive one point. The points add up to dollars and a voucher is sent to you twice a year via your email, in January and July. The shop is located on the lower floor of Top Ryde Shopping Centre. It has proven to be extremely rugged and accompanied me through other parts of SE Asia before returning home. Yet another example of a company that sell high quality products with great service. This duo rarely comes at bargain prices but who cares when you know your kids will probably inherit treasures like this. Of course, off-white was not the most practical color for a suitcase but this accompanies me in the cabin on all flights; I've never been asked to check it.

But I wouldn't of been able to fit anything else in my carry on bag anyway. There is any sort of design you could imagine, including prints, solids, and unique textures. The Fabric Store definitely puts an emphasis on natural fibers like cotton, silks, and linens. There's also merino, rayon, wool, acetate, and even bamboo fabrics. Bet you didn't know that bamboo is actually the most environmentally friendly fabric and even has antibacterial properties! If you're staying near The Rocks in Circular Quay, it's a very convenient location. We came by to see their inventory and found a few small leather goods in stock, as well as the Pochette Accessoires, which they had just received that morning and was still in the shipment boxes. We were very lucky as the larger location near Pitt Mall didn't even have these in stock. Otherwise, usually that store will have more items to choose from, but it doesn't hurt stopping by here and seeing what they have!

Australia Day 2015 was wet, grey and only got wetter and greyer. Yes I'd taken a brolly, one of those tiny fold up numbers that hardly cover your head, but I needed more protection than that against the elements. Sure, I could have packed my Yelpers poncho, and I would have, if I'd been able to find it in the early hours before I dashed off for the train. Wet & bedraggled I dripped my way into the store, lured by jackets that were now half price, now around $130. I was like a man in the desert looking for water! Well, no, just the opposite of everything I just said, but you know what I mean. Flicked through the rack, & noticed another stand of jackets that were about $80. Yes, I've got several jackets at home but I'm in the city for many hours to come, so I've tried on a few. The sales person was helpful in helping with sizes, and searching for colours for me. Just as I was about to it a buy one in a basic, boring black he offered to search in the Clearance area for me. Very pleased, he returned with a candy pink & a sky blue in my size. Sold! The blue rain jacket was mine! And I think about $50!!! I kind of think that if I'd gone in & bought either of the other 2 options that I probably wouldn't have bothered to review the place. But getting friendly service by somebody who listened to what I needed, helped me look on the racks, & then offered to something extra, I'm here sharing the love. I can only hope that this kind of service is part of the Kathmandu protocol.

I was surprised to see it at the airport but out of curiosity walked in and suddenly got super excited. They had a wonderful collection of summer gear - beautiful dresses, caftans, shirts and super fun accessories.... Suddenly I wanted to buy the whole store and than change my airport ticket to Hawaii so I could spend a week showing off my new summer ensembles. The prices were reasonable with a detailed summer dress costing around $120. I was surprised by how much I liked this store and how it excited me for a summer holiday.. If you're a girly girl you're gonna like this store....if you're a tom boy I suggest you stay clear as it may cause an allergic reaction. My kinda place... worthy of a visit.
