He asked for half down for materials for our small stamped concrete project in May of 2021, he kept putting off the project, I would reach out and not hear back for a week or more at a time. Always had more excuses. We are now over two months out from when we gave him money with no work started. We requested our money back and having to threaten legal action he finally responded and told us he would send a check. Well you guessed it, still haven't received that and don't plan to as he will not respond to any texts or calls. I have been in contact with a few others that he has treated the same. One person has waited over a year to have their work done and he keeps blowing them off with no refund. There are news articles and forum posts about this guy scamming people, unfortunately they weren't posted until after we 'hired' him. He has numerous past small claims cases against him in Clinton County, IL. Check the comments in all the reviews on Facebook for a news article. We will be reaching out to our local news station as well, hopefully it will prevent others from getting scammed by Shane.

I contracted with Tri-County Seal Coating to repair a soft spot in our drive (due to water…read morestanding) in addition to adding two drains to move the water off the asphalt. These were the first drains they had installed but they did an excellent job. They listened to what we wanted and excecuted that plan flawlessly. They installed a drain line to a retention pond and all is working as planed and hoped. They backfilled the excavated area with CA6 rock, compacted the rock and overlaid the area with 4" of asphalt. Our engineer complimented them for their response, workmanship and clean up. They went above and beyond what was expected so the value was excellent. we had them come back and seal several cracks and another great job.
