I contacted MAC customer service to ask more about it and they said they have no control in the matter and stated that Macy's can have whatever policy they want. I contacted the manager Angelique of the cosmetic department at Macy's in Staten Island Mall and she never called me back. When I wanted to return two of the 14 products I purchased since I had make-up done there three times, Brianna told me it was final sale. That's a lie. I got a refund at another Macy's. This place is a rip off and it's a shame that you can feel stuck without options if you have a special event. I also did not appreciate the lack of help there is with another associate: I didn't get her name but she did not offer any help when I was contemplating shades for eyeshadow to match my dress. The only person with any true talent is Melissa. Melissa is very experienced, fast and has an excellent way with customers.

By the time I made it through one section of the store, I was sweating like I had just run a marathon in July. Forget trying on clothes--I was trying to stay conscious. The employees looked just as miserable. The poor guy at the register looked ready to faint barely 20 minutes into his shift. I honestly felt bad for him. To make matters worse, even the manager mentioned how unbearable the heat was and practically begged me to tell someone because the staff is suffering. I don't know if the air conditioning was broken or if there simply isn't any, but something needs to be done. Customers shouldn't need electrolyte drinks and a cooling vest just to browse for socks. Great prices, but the temperature inside felt like Primark: The Oven Edition. Please turn the AC on before someone melts into the floor.
