Interestingly, I saw a note on the counter that indicated at some point last year this shop was going to close, but a strong reaction from the neighborhood helped the owner to change their mind and keep the shop open. What that meant on a practical level is that during my visit a lot of the shelves were definitely more bare than I think they would normally be.
