We were in the area and wanted to sit for a bit. Their korean sandwiches were pretty decent. Nothing too special but they were hearty and filling still. The dalgona coffee was a good blend of caffeine and sugar- would come back here again! They also had to kick us out which they warned us of when there was an art class coming up in the venue but we never felt rushed. Great owners! read more

History

Established in 2018.

We are looking for new local artists for solo show in our gallery. And we teach art fundamentals , basic foundations and all materials high skill for individuals student. We hope all students have own their style and we will help them to encourage next generation artists.

Meet the Business Owner: Sungmi K.

Emerging artist Sungmi Kong is best known for her unique Korean traditional folk-art paintings, which have often been exhibited throughout Greater Toronto Area for the past few years and getting well recognized. As an active member of the Burlington Fine Arts Association (BAFF) and Korean Artists Society of Canada (KASC) where she is continuously involved with, through their major art events often by exhibitions and workshops. If you attended one of these workshops and demonstrations you could be easily impressed with her wonderful artistry. In February 2018, one particular painting that she portrayed her youngest daughter riding a bike in the fascinating Korean folk-art style garnered an "Honorable Mention" from the Burlington Fine Art Centre in Ontario. Children, bird cage and flowers especially peonies are common objects in her paintings that could be representing her life literally or figuratively.

Make no mistake, this IS a public park as well as a gallery…read more Most wedding pictures are done here. if you walk straight , following the path, on the right side is the garden and on the left side is another path. Straight ahead is the ledge with rocks overlooking the lake. Awesome place to sit and ponder lovely thoughts. You can take walks all alongside the path You can feed ducks or swans here (beware of hungriest attacking seagulls) There's tiny ponds with tons of toads chilling - if you need to make friends. The park area is large , so you can lay around on grass almost anywhere. Make sure to watch your step, there is bird poop almost everywhere on the pathway. In the evenings, the garbage canisters in the parking lot is the raccoon weekly partayyyyyyy .WARNING: They WILL run towards you. Don't try and act brave. After 11, cops come to check the parking lot. Many MANY many many many many many times I've witnessed BMW driving jocks bringing the girl of the evening for some sexy time.
