Walked over to Kapiolani park, then the tennis courts. Lopaka told us stories throughout the entire tour. You do get to participate, I don't want to give too much away. Highly recommend visiting Kualoa Ranch and doing this popular tour! The land is ginormous and offer sooo many different tours. I'll def come back and book one of the tour activities for horseback riding and zip-lining. The UTV tour is two hours long and you can either self-drive the UTV or book one with the tour guide. Each UTV has enough room for up to 6 people I believe. We paid $162.79 per person. They make you arrive 45 min beforehand but we showed up 25 mins beforehand and it was fine. You check in with the folks behind the counter and then they'll lead you to the area with the numbered table benches. They still made us wait for the group before us to leave before we even could line up by those tables. Once you check in, they give you a neck scarf (which you can keep) and try on helmets and goggles. You can bring your own goggles or wear sunglasses too. They make you sign waivers and also check your IDs if you're driving. Each time slot has up to 10 groups and you drive in a line, stopping at about 3-4 stops. Our tour guides were awesome and very knowledgeable in telling us facts about the different film stops. I'm a big movie/ TV show fan so it was really cool seeing some of these places in person! They had infamous sets from Jurassic World, Jumanji, King Kong, etc. They gave us plenty of time to check out some of the stops and take pictures. They're also really nice and offered to take multiple pics for us, including one with a big dinosaur in the background (they carry a dinosaur toy for these pics lol). Make sure you book in advance because they fill up the time slots quick! You will get dirty from the UTV drive so I recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting messy. Also bring a mask or wear their neck scarf so you don't breathe in the dust. At the beginning of the tour, they take your picture and then sell printed copy as a souvenir at the end for $20. They have a food court, gift shop, and bathrooms inside. There's also plenty of parking which is a plus!

Bag policy - leave your bags in the car or home. You cannot enter with anything bigger than a small wallet. They will make you check it and pay. Better to not bring at all. Very strict. Tickets - Pearl Harbor itself to enter is free. You cannot pay $1 online to prebook the USS Arizona memorial boat tour in advance or just sign up as soon as you get there and it's free. Each time I've just done the latter and it usually gets me on the boat within an hour. They seem to always have standby but I've only gone in the afternoon. The tickets for everything else, you should look online in advance to include the bowfin and battleship. Those you should book online. Time - if you're not doing any paid additional tours, I would recommend 2-3 hours. There are 2 smaller museum areas to walk through, a walking path outside along the water, a 20+ minute video and the boat tour. You can definitely pair this visit with other activities throughout your day Food - there is a snack shop inside. Bathrooms - at least 2 available on each end Staff - some of the park rangers could be nicer. I've been a few times and one of them, they seemed on a grumpy or angry side. Not because anyone was doing anything they shouldn't be, that's just the way their attitude was but it could have just been a bad day. The memorial is open 7am to 5pm.

I didn't like the lack of directions. I reserved my boat ride to the memorial, either I didn't pay attention to the email directions, but I felt lost and didn't know where to go. Btw go to the south most building at 5 minutes before your reservation time and they will board you. Just show your email receipt is enough but most had to show a QR code that I was unable to download for some reason. Still was a pretty place. Btw, parking is a NIGHTMARE. Be there an hour before your board time. Don't plan on parking in the memorial lot at all, just park north of there in free parking by the private dock. Btw, don't be an idiot like the other 100 people and bring a bag/purse! You'll be standing in a locker line with the other 100 people trying to get a locker for an hour.
