First off, this was not a complex liability case. I had dashcam footage from the front, back, left, and right showing the accident, yet the case still dragged on for months. My case manager was supposed to determine whether the at-fault driver had paid their traffic ticket in June. By March, I discovered it had not been done, and my attorney ultimately had me, the client, do it myself. My case manager also told me she did not want to communicate with the adjuster because "he is a nut job." The insurance company then waited roughly five months for a response while I repeatedly asked the firm to respond. I repeatedly asked my lawyers to file a lawsuit. Approximately eight months later, no lawsuit had been filed. Over about 16 months, I went through 3 case managers and 6 lawyers. I rarely received proactive updates and often had to call for information. My case manager was rude and dismissive. I repeatedly asked about negotiating my health insurance/subrogation amount and was told I had an ERISA plan, so they would not negotiate it. I do not have an ERISA plan, and the subrogation company had already provided a negotiated amount. That destroyed my confidence in the handling of my case. I tried to give the firm a chance to fix things internally. For over three months, I asked to speak with Mr. Madden. I was told I had to go through my case manager, and she did not seem willing to let me escalate the issue. I eventually spoke with the COO, Mrs. Madden. She apologized and said she would investigate. However, she later gave me information that was inaccurate. She said my lawyer negotiated my property damage; I negotiated it myself. She said my case manager negotiated my subrogation; that was not my experience. She also said my fee had been discounted from 40% to 35%, but my fee agreement had always been 35%. After I challenged those statements, she said she would investigate further. She later told me there was nothing they could do for me, but they would make sure this did not happen to future clients. At the end, I again asked why I had been unable to speak with Mr. Madden for months. She said he had been busy with trial the previous week and that week. I responded, "So he has been busy for three months?" Her response was essentially, "It doesn't matter. He will tell you the same thing." That was incredibly dismissive. I had spent months asking to speak with the person whose name is on the firm about how my case was handled. If my experience was serious enough that the firm said it would make changes for future clients, I do not understand why nothing was done for the client who actually experienced those problems. I received no meaningful fee reduction or other resolution. Even after settlement, my case manager told me picking up my check "shouldn't take much time since your settlement is so small anyway." That was insulting, especially after she had refused to communicate with the adjuster. I was also told approximately $255 needed to be paid to a medical provider, even though the provider was not asking for it and the bill had already been paid. That further damaged my trust in the settlement accounting. I also found some website marketing questionable. I saw a roughly $10 million lawsuit displayed among results/awards while smaller text said the case was still ongoing. I did not expect miracles. I expected competent representation, communication, professionalism, and accountability. Instead, over approximately 16 months, I experienced three case managers, six attorneys, months-long communication problems, incorrect information, tasks I had to complete myself, repeated unanswered requests to speak with Mr. Madden, difficulty even getting permission to escalate beyond my case manager, and ultimately no meaningful attempt to make things right after I brought all of these concerns directly to management. I would not recommend T. Madden & Associates even to my worst enemy.

Out of the 6000$ they used less than 5000$ we received no refund for the remaining balance. We also received an invoice asking for more money. I believe this to be unethical and do not recommend using this law firm. I will continue to share our experience across all social media platforms.
