Had to post a review here also. Owner is a who employs those just like him. All my neighbors on Colonial Forest had stopped using them because of shady pricing & tactics. I had to learn the hard way but they won't get another penny from me. Charged $125 for a test to find a leak. Didn't find the leak and didn't tell me they were going to charge me for the test. I called the office to find out what the charge was since they ran my card. Was told this test cost $125 and I explained the tech never disclosed this. They said oh well we will talk to him. As much money as I have spent with them you would think they would be straight shooters. It makes me question everything else they have charged me for. Super suspect business practices. read more

Have been a customer for 2 years. Have accepted all their proposals without ever haggling or questioning pricing. The work we have received has been low quality (repairs having to be done by other contractors to fix their work), they don't delivery any of the attention to detail we want. system has been down a lot killing parts of the lawn. not recommend. Actively looking for a higher quality provider for expansion of the sprinkler system they maintain to include another area. read more

Rainscapes quoted me $150 - 200 to fix a crack in the PVC pipe of my irrigation backflow and when I questioned that amount, ended up quoting me under $100. Next, came to my property and determined I need two heads replaced - estimated $120 to do that and when I questioned that amount and asked for the exact pricing, the tech said he would write me up an estimate and went to his truck. I checked on the broken heads and when I came back around the house, he was gone. Just left. I called their office and told them what happened, and when they called back they wanted to charge me an additional trip fee to come back out and replace the heads, even after the tech up and left. Lady from the office couldn't have been more rude and said their approach is because they have people that don't want to pay, and that's how she treated me essentially. Horrible experience. Used to be a good company at a reasonable, but never the lowest price. Now, very pricey and downright rude. read more

We use this company for our irrigation and lawn services. We are the only house on our street with irrigation and our yard is by far the worst. We have contacted the company regarding the situation and they sent someone out, but it continues to get worse. I included pictures of our yard versus our neighbors. We canceled our service and they returned the unused portion of our money. I hate that we paid all summer for them to destroy our yard. We will not be using them again for our lawn services. read more

Kam quoted me a price to get my 20 year old sprinkler system up and running. The install team showed up unannounced a week prior to my scheduled appt which was fine. They worked for a few hours then came to show me the finished product which leaked. I also pointed out a valve replacement that was not what I was quoted. They mentioned not having the correct parts with them and returned the next day to finish. Finished the next day but kept fixing leaks when we were told that the line would be new. Oh well. It works. Then wanted to charge an additional $800 for labor when the install crew clearly had no direction on what the job entailed. So when Kam comes to quote a price just know that it means nothing. Not an ethical company. Won't use again. read more

I bought my house in Greenback Tn last July and the previous owner had used them so gave them a try. They serviced my system both last fall and this spring and added additional areas of coverage where needed. I could not be happier with the service!! Dave Buckner found and repaired the system where dome critters had chewed through wires, added another zone and all the work they have ever performed has come in either on estimate or lower!! I called to schedule winterization of my irrigation system but was told that they would not do it unless I bought an annual maintenance package. In other words I am sitting here with a blank check ready to purchase their service and they refuse to take my money. They were willing to accept my money for the last 20 years but not now. This is not the kind of company that I want to do business with. We are done. read more

Our first year, the service was fine and we had no complaints. However this time around we were on a more expensive plan (I do not recall upgrading) and of course each time they would find heads to replace, etc. But the last time they charged $200 for a "Basic leak repair" which is pretty outrageous. They gave me an estimate to remove windowbox irrigation from my house for $600 which is also crazy - to simply take down hosing. And then when they came to winterize - they didn't remove the piece because the tech said I left while he was there. (I did, but my husband was home and there were multiple cars in the driveway. He never bothered to ring the doorbell or call me.) I called to ask where it was and they had to send another tech to actually finish the job. I wouldn't have known, the technician made zero attempts to let me know. No sincere apologies or concern. All of this to say, this company will absolutely take advantage and price gauge. Someone showed up, without ever being hired by me, trespassed on my property ( we didn't even hear the door!) and winterized my system without permission. Now they're BILLING me for trespassing and performing a service on MY home without permission. I'm currently looking into pulling security footage and pressing charges. We talked to the company, they apologized, then proceeded to send ANOTHER bill for services we never signed a contract on, even inquired about. read more
