Bobby and his team always work miracles keeping our 2018 Highlander looking, smelling, and FEELING brand new (no need for those silly "new car smell" scents)! This business is owned by Bobby and his brother Nick. Even though this is a 3-star review, I want to say that I would use these guys again. Nick is a nice guy who is highly professional, responded quickly, arrived promptly, and did a fabulous job on my car. The fabric upholstery in my car was in bad shape -- purchased new 4 years ago, but it's taken a pounding from spilled drinks, cat urine, and projectile vomit from passengers having gone too hard. The exterior was not much better. I opted for the deluxe package ($180). So why 3-stars? Upon arriving and doing a quick inspection, Nick added a $20 vomit removal fee. Okay, fine, I'd looked at competitors, and some (not all) charge similarly. Would've been nice to have it mentioned upfront in my initial quote while I shopped around, but okay. The problem is that due to the nature of the substances that had seeped in, even his strongest cleaners failed to completely clean my seats, which was the very reason I was charged the extra $20. 98% clean is not 100% clean and several black+brown tracks remain on 3 of my seats. Again, I realize it was a difficult job and I understand there was extra labor involved, but I'm not paying for your labor -- I'm paying to have the service performed and you determine your price based on your labor. At the end of the 2-hr session, he departed without having completed the service I paid for, stating that he could return for a second attempt, with industrial strength cleaners for an additional estimated $70 charge. He stated he would text me with a follow-up and he has failed to do so. Also, several areas in the trunk were missed that required 30 seconds of scrubbing -- a somewhat careless oversight. He may have had another appointment he had to rush to, not anticipating my job would take as long as it did. That said, everything else was flawless. All surfaces were dusted, vacuumed, and conditioned. The exterior got polished and waxed. He stated that clay bar treatment was executed, but I don't know enough to verify this. Tires and wheels also look brand spankin' new. He also stated he'd clean my engine block, which I've yet to check. Maybe no competitor would've done better, but it wasn't done perfectly. So suggestions: -Build-out a website with all additional fees listed. Add a reservation system. Several competitors utilize this and they were all booked out weeks in advance. -Finish the job, even if you have another appointment to get to. If the job isn't completed, return and complete the job I've already paid for. I'll update this review if any of the above is rectified. read more

Wow...wow...wow!!!! I called Bobby for his detailing miracle when I realized I really had let the care of my car go. My car was an embarrassment to say the least. I knew it was a problem when my friends and family started commenting and joking. It had dog and horse hair throughout and some bad staining in the front passenger from drinks and food spilling. I also hadn't given it a good vacuuming since god knows when. And and did I forget to mention I never waxed it?! Bobby really took his time on my Jeep and did not disappoint what so ever. He came to my apartment which was also super nice because I didn't have to lift a finger, we just communicated through text while he was out there. The process took about 2 hours but well worth the wait. I recommend getting the whole car air bomb if you have a stale air coming through the vents or any other odor! My car looks and smells great. My cars interior has never been professionally cleaned. (I've had it for 4 years) I have a light beige interior, carpets and seats. Over the passed few years the carpets have been slowly turning from a clean beige to a dull grey covered in scuff marks... After my detail today the interior looks almost like it did when I drove off the lot! All the scuffs are out of the carpet, and the rest of the interior is immaculate to match. The dashboard, steering wheel and doors were conditioned, and are glowing with shine!. The only thing that I noticed is he didn't do the visors, which could have used a little bit of love... but I guess I should have pointed that out since that area could be easily missed. The outside is so shiny it doesn't even look like the same car! I'm satisfied with my detail, thanks NICK!! read more

Although they did a good job on my car and were able to accommodate me at work on the same day, I am a little irritated. When the guy, I think Eddie???, showed up to wash my car I referred to their website and said "Do you guys take credit cards?" He replied hesitantly saying that they did. I didn't have cash, but would have had no issue with getting some BEFORE the service. Anyway, so they wash my car and even though it looks beautiful, it's time to pay. I went to give my credit card and he says "oh, sorry I don't have my credit card processor. I can't take a credit card." So here I am at work with no cash and he tells me he can't take my credit card. I had to physically leave work to go to an ATM to get cash for the service. I came back and paid him and even though he apologized I am irritated nonetheless. I am grateful to have the freedom at my job to be able to leave really quick to run an errand, but I wish I could have avoided this from the start. I'm not sure if I will use them again. read more

From another car enthusiast in town I was referred to Raising the Barr. I made a call at 8am. At 830 am they were at my door, picked up the car, handled the paperwork and went to work. In less than 45 minutes my car was washed, waxed and detailed to perfection! I mean immaculate down to cleaning the air vents and every nook and cranny inside and out. The wheels and rims sparked and the dressing on the tires they put on made my car look like it came off the show room. They finished and personally delivered the keys to my office where I asked for a stack of their business cards to pass out. I have been here 12 years and used over 40 detailing companies and I can say without a doubt these guys are the best, most professional service I have EVER seen.
