The restaurant is nicely appointed with cloth tablecloth's, interesting illuminated wall carvings and cascades of bubbles from two thin glass tanks on the back wall. There were other diners as it is obviously a popular local spot. We ordered beers and papadums to start, and then each had a lamb dish - a ginger spiced curry for my husband and shashlik tandoori for me. We added garlic naan, saffron rice, and an okra dish, and some hot (as in chili) sauce to accompany the mains. The lamb was lean, flavorful and beautifully spiced. There were lots of nice touches - hot plates to keep the food warm, limes slices with our water, a freshness to everything. I love Indian food but it can often be heavy and this was refreshingly light. The staff was extremely pleasant and the bathrooms were clean. We ended up with enough food to take a good bit home and enjoy for lunch tomorrow. Bravo Shaan!

On Trip Advisor, this restaurant had over 230 ratings with a rating of 4.5/5. My wife and I had the Chicken Masala, a chicken curry dish, a cauliflower potato veggie, and a coconut and almond naan- Peshwari Naan. And it was all excellent. Give this restaurant a chance. They have friendly, great service with delicious food. It was a welcome change from the "typical" English food that we had eaten while in London.

A family-run establishment that serves constantly excellent Indian cuisine. The proprietor is one of the most pleasant and genuinely customer-service focused restauranteurs that I've ever met. I've had the pleasure to be served by his sons too (who are a credit to him). The staff always have a smile and take time to talk to you regardless of what you're there for. The actual choice of food is wide and features many dishes that other restaurants don't offer. If you want to be adventurous, ask for some guidance about what's delicious and they'll even customize a dish to your liking. Curry Paradise has to be one of the best places to enjoy a satisfying meal with friends or order a takeaway to enjoy at home during Match Of The Day.
