Summary: Pretty good food, no complaints, but I was left with the bedroom smelling of Tandoori Regret for a day or two after!
We were seated within minutes on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant was heaving and staff looked a little hurried. The inside is a very British experience; rows of tables, plain single-colour walls, and a couple of flatscreens playing Indian music videos with the sound off.
Our drinks order was, I thought; a simple request; "jug of tap water please," but we had to ask three times for it. It arrived initially as just a glass of water, and then afterwards the jug turned up. From then on everything went well, our food order was taken and turned up in good time, and we ate, paid and left.
The whole experience was really nothing to write home about; on the whole, probably won't go back as it was out of our usual catchment area, but there's nothing wrong with this place, it just wasn't stellar. read more
