I mailed in my application on a Monday to another insurance company for my specialty car. When I called them it was Friday and they told me they mailed back my check because they can't insure my car. So now it's Friday morning and I really want some insurance for the weekend is here. I asked friends advice and Googled for companies. Struck out 4 times. Over the years, my husband and I have been solely with the "big companies" - paying more and probably not getting the best coverage for the money.
