Mechanic had the best bedside manner during a traumatic time for me when my bike broke down while traveling cross country and on a time crunch. Had called this shop ahead of time to order a part and schedule repairs. They were really good about getting the part overnight mail (of course at my expense) and slotted my repairs in. They accommodated our needs for a ride to a car rental place and reimbursed us cab fare when no one could give us a lift. They are a fairly busy dealership and its often difficult to get someone on the phone, but if you are persistent, they will eventually help you. Happy with work performed. We were able to leave both bikes in the shop over the weekend when only one was being repaired. They were kind enough to even wash both bikes. Bonus! They were filthy Thumbs up! read more

first you need a zero on your experience scale. I have has 2 experiences with Rallye motors, one my wife boughh a nissan and she died in that car, no Fault of rallye , Ralye convined her to buy "gap insurance" which was useless when i was at trying to settle the estate. was just in the way, over 1 year later no one has paid for the car, needlesss to say ..bad experience and memory second i bought an atv from them i did not know it was rally at first as it used to be atlantic yamaha sorts motoplex bought it to plow my drieveway, they wouldnt let me install the winch That should have be flag one, they sold me the base modcel 450 supposed to be 6,999 plus the plow i paid way to much came to 12,500$ the winch you can buy on amazon, anywho i feel im at my wits end they keep calling asking for a 5 rating, at least 5-10 times, i have memory loss from radiation and chemothereapy so i dont remember things, anywho i had a very bad experience with them, and just to get my atv home, not going to get into.. I just been bashing rallye as much as i can on social media i dont care they called me over and overfor a 5 star rating well here you go i wont stop, they cant stop me...haha since they called looking to add the warranty, i have under 70km bike works ok, but i wish i wasnt pushed into "the deal of the century" id have bought the 570 with winch and plow but "live and LEARN read more

I was about 3500 miles into a motorcycle trip on my way back home and had arranged an oil change on the phone that morning with the local Monkton BMW dealer. Unfortunately on arrival the service desk had no trace of that call and the soonest they could procure the parts necessary for an oil change and avail the required trained BMW technician we would be well into next week. As I was walking around the store checking out the late model versions of my bike I was wondering if people purchasing them knew there were so difficult to maintain. A sympathetic soul as I was getting ready to leave told me to try my luck with Toys for big boys. And an excellent advice that was. Those guys had me back on the road in less than an hour. After a friendly welcome by Ray Richard whom I did not have to convince that changing the oil was a good idea whether you are able to respect exacting German standards on a twenty years old bike. This dealership sponsored a rider by the name of Brennan Schofield! Brennan put a claim on a Factory Star racing bike at Loretta Lynn's amateur championship race this year! RallyE Motoplex, Yamaha motor corp, Donnie Luce, Matt Walker coerced Brennan to rescind the claim or RallyE Motoplex was going to drop his sponsorship! So Brennan did exactly what RallyE Motoplex told him to do, he retracted the claim! While Brennan was driving back to Canada he got a phone call from RallyE Motoplex telling Brennan to bring his sponsored bike back and that RallyE Motoplex will no longer sponsor him! I would highly suggest not to trust this dealership on any purchases or labor work! RallyE Motoplex will tell you one thing and do another or will completely not support your warranties! Its been a while coming but I am finally calling it quits on Motoplex / BMW. I have been an avid BMW motorcycle guy for years. Loved the dealership under the previous owner. When Rallye bought it things started going down hill. The breaking point for me was a bill for 285.00 for an oil change ( that's what I had asked for. They told me they did the recommended service). I paid the bill with the intent of never coming back. Went outside to get on my bike and it looked like it had been sprayed with an red/orange liquid ( not sure what it was ). After having them clean the mess I was happy to see that place in my review. Not sure what these people think service is but for the kind of money they charge it sure isn't something you get there anymore. Hoping that BMW Canada realise what these people are doing to a good brand and give it to someone who knows how to treat customers. read more

Hello, my name is Wanda Schrader. My husband, Cecil Nichols owns a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 450 HO. We were having issues with our Polaris stalling out when slowing down consistently. We made an appointment with Raleigh Motoplex & Marine on Chain Lake Drive, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our bike went in on July 31, 2024. They had the bike for about 8 days, called us to tell us to pick it up and it was fixed. My husband picked up the bike, paid the $993.22 bill and took it home. Needless to say, nothing was fixed and it was exactly the same. We called Rallye explaining it was not fixed. They made another appointment for us to bring it back in 2 weeks. We did. Another 2 weeks went by and no one got in touch with us, so I decided to call them. They told me they believed it was ready and they would call my husband or myself a little later on that day. They called my husband and told him he can come pick it up. When my husband came home, he looked unhappy. Rallye told him they can't find the problem and they are done trying to fix it. So, instead of working with us and offering at least a part of the $1000.00 dollars we paid back, they basically said....someone has to pay for labor! Terrible customer service, unprofessional and down right bad business. If Polaris mechanics can't find the issue why a Polaris ATV is stalling out, wouldn't that basically mean there must be a defective issue somewhere within the ATV and it should be looked at for a recall possibility and not just pushed aside?? What kind of professional company does this? I would be embarrassed giving the bike back to the owner not fixed and charging $1000.00. Rallye, you should be ashamed of your company. read more

But, I took a brochure anyway and then he said I was fat and then he told me to leave the dealership. :'( I was treated horribly. :'( I might never come back ever again because an employee had made me feel uncomfortable. :'( read more

Customer service was terrible. We ordered the side by side in May were told delivery was middle of August no show and then told the first week of September no show....then told the middle of September. We finally picked it up on September 30. It was supposed to have been a quick easy drop old bike off and get new one. Well 2.5 hours later vefore we get out. We were told a certain value for our bike and when get got there it was $4000 less. This was unexceptable. Then we felt bullied into signi g new documents. The service manager is not much of a manager he doesn't work for the customer to make you happy that is for sure. We left with new bike after feeling bullied into signing with an uneasy feeling. When buying such a big purchase uou would think one would feel happy about their new purchase....not in this case. We will never be back there and will not refer anyone to go there. Honestly it starts immediately with first contact. Saw a bike online they were advertising so sent a quick email asking for additional detail they responded with a slew of questions asking me where I lived and if I would be financing etc BUT NOWHERE did they even address my questions. I responded informing them that we would get my details once I had decided if the bike met my needs and requirements, to which they apologized and immediately re-asked the same questions without answering mine AGAIN! This time I wrote back with a very terse statement of please answer my original questions. Finally got an email from a sales 'manager' who responded by asking me if I HAD any questions about the bike FFS!!!! Copied and pasted all of the original dialogues into the email telling him yes the ones at the top middle and bottom of this email chain. Ok finally got answers decided it was worth a look in person. Drove up from Nova Scotia to take a look at the bike. Got there and you would think I forgot to wash as the sales staff didn't seem willing to approach me. Finally found the bike in question and gave it a good once over .... pulled it out into the showroom floor put it up on its center stand yanked at it pulled the plastic off the side turned the key and started it up. All without 1 sales person or employee questioning me or seemingly raising an eyebrow....... weird. OK so finally decide I actually need a sales person to proceed. Have to go to the front desk ask for one to be paged to the come in. Guy shows up 5 minutes later looking bored (hey I get it sales suck sometimes). But asks if I have any questions to which I answer yes that I noticed an error code is being shown on the display of the bike and can they confirm what it is. Response 'Well we'd have to take it to the shop and diagnose it, which I can't do without a sale' .... I blink twice to this..... You mean you expect someone to purchase a used bike from you with an error code that could be anything from a regular service interval to RUN FOR THE HILLS IT'S GONNA BLOW!! Ignore the fact that the bike has an OBD II system on it and a 15 dollar code reader would answer the question.... WHO PUTS A BIKE ON THEIR SHOW ROOM FLOOR WITHOUT A THOROUGH MECHANICAL INSPECTION??? Including notes as to what may or may not be wrong with it... can you say Liability Lawsuit boys and girls.... Anyway I make my offer contingent on knowing what the code is, to which they say they'll get back to me when they get around to it. I have to say I used to think Procycle in Halifax took the cake for incompetence but I think Rallye is in the running too. read more

Bought an fxr for snow suit. Jacket and pants. For my girlfriend. Very expensive suit and she was not with me at the time the girl selling it told me if it doesn't fit that's no problem come back and we'll exchange it for one that does. I thought ok that's pretty normal with clothing sale went fine and off I went. Girlfriend got home tried it on and snow pants were to big. So back we went a few days after when she was not working and it all went downhill from there. I had receipt and all tags were still on the jacket and pants. They refused to exchange them saying there policy is no returns no exchanges on clothes. I was told the opposite when I bought it but I guess the girl who told me that was not there that day. I argued for a good while and got a manager involved and in the end they refused to let me simply exchange the snow pants for ones that fit. I left furious since they were a few hundred dollars and when I started looking around on the local atv club websites I found many people complaining of the exact same thing. I refuse to go there in the future and I really can't recommend them for anything. I really liked buying things there before rallye took over but clothes to parts it's all a nightmare in there now. read more

I was at Motoplex this past Thursday to look at a 2008 Kawasaki Concours. The salesman took me to their warehouse where the bike was being stored to look at it. It was advertised with 70k kilometers. I assume it was an American import when it showed 70k miles about 40k kilometers more than advertized. It was a bit beat up but the price reflected that. After returning to the showroom I looked at the 2014 Concours in their showroom. I made the decision to buy it and later that day when I was getting my own financing in order there seemed to be a problem with the vin number. After a few calls I had learned it was not a 2014 but a 2011! I was not offered a reduced price but was told what we have into it is what we want for it. They offered me 100$ off of a 650$ Shoei rf1200 I was going to buy as well. Thats it!!!!! Pretty shamefull on their part. Some people might think we'll it was just a used bike but can you imagine a car dealer screwing up where a car advertised was actually 3 years older? I had a check cut for 12k which was what it would cost for this machine. I'm not telling anyone not to shop there I'm just letting you know of my experience with this place. 5 stars for outstanding care and service. As a former motorcycle rider, I reached a point where I wanted to get back into riding. After visits to many local dealers, the sale went to a company that was more than 4 hours away. Why you ask? The staff at AM were patient with me as I tried to decide whether to buy a used or new bike, and whether to buy a street bike or an enduro bike, and so on. I was offered the opportunity to ride any bike in the showroom and there were many, and even new bikes were offered to me. They provided me with a helmet (remember I have been away for a while), and even let me ride one motorcycle twice as I came down to the final decision. Overall I found every staff member from the phone receptionist to the salesman to be very patient and courteous. I look forward to the spring when I can drive over to buy my riding apparel. One final comment. If I lived closer I would apply to work there, they impressed me that much. read more

I emailed Ralley and Jason, one of the specialists was quick to respond and initially really helpful. I was looking at a brand new Ducati Monster and I sent someone in to look at it. My friend informed me that it was used, not new, although it was only lightly used. I was also told to get the advertised price I would have to fiance the bike as the dealership got as kickback from the bank for the giving them the loan. err... ok. So we went ahead with everything until it came time to sign the deal and noticed they were charging me quite a few dubious fees. I called two dealers near my work and both had no document fee which was either $299 or $400 plus taxes depending on the phone call with Jason, neither charged $400 for local registration fees of $450 plus taxes, although to be fair Jason did reduce that to $109 because I was out of province. Neither had a delivery fee of $899 plus tax either. So all these made up fees are just likely so much bullshit and a way to pad their profit. I know that it allows Ralley to advertise a killer price which attracts attention and gets people in the doors and then these fees push the price up and up. The long and short of course is the out the door price. So while I hated the feeling of getting nickel and dimed with made up fees, I was OK because in my mind the bike was still a decent deal. Then of course, Jason said oh and by the way.... there is little to no warranty left on this bike because its, used. So I was OK with that because they would remove the $899 delivery/PDI fee and with Jesse the fiance person, I would use that to buy an 3rd party expended warranty. Things get interesting now because I think that this $899 was a lot to give up for the dealer, even though they agreed to it, all of a sudden they found a new in crate unit that I could have for the same price if I paid the $899 delivery fee. Well, that worked for me as 3rd party warranties can be difficult or impossible to use so I agreed. Then I waited and waited for the paperwork so I could sign it and send it back. I emailed several times and called twice. I emailed the sales manager etc. Finally I got a hold of Jason and he informed me that the new in crate unit was gone, sold the day before we made the deal on it, I mentioned this and Oh, sorry, it was in the 20 minutes after we spoke. ;-) So it was back to the original deal, but when I got the quote this time the $899 had been added back on the used bike and Jason just said, sorry, I can't remove it again. I just don't understand the workings of this dealer. I don't understand the act of advertising an artificially low price and then adding a bunch of arbitrary fees that change from conversation to conversation, it just confuses the customer and maybe that's the idea. You'd think that after investing all those phone calls and time, they'd stick with the deals they made and not try to still nickel and dime their customers even after the deal was made. Anyway, I guess this is just a warning to guys who want to spend their hard earned money here. Go in with your eyes fully open and watch for the arbitrary and fluid fees and don't trust their word at all, get it in writing. Hmm...they never once responded to an email I sent them, they would always call so there was never a paper trail. I don't think they are crooks but I just wouldn't trust them to do anything they say they will do. Verify everything they tell you. *Language warning* I went to rallye motoplex to get tires mounted on my motorcycle wheels on the 9th of July they said they couldn't do it until the 16. What they should of said is "I'm sorry, but we don't have anyone competent enough to do that kind of work here". But they didn't, so I thought, "it's a motorcycle dealership, they must know how to do a tire change". I was very wrong. I went in on July 16th at 10:00am for my appointment; I asked the guy at the service desk how long it would take. He went in the back and then came out and said "they aren't too busy this morning so it shouldn't take more than an hour or and hour and a half max." I came back a little after 1:00pm, 3 hours later, to pick up my tires but they didn't have them done yet and the "service manager" very rudely told me "They will be done when we have time to do it. Its not a priority job" I though to myself then why make appointments? I brushed it off and just waited for their call. They finally called me 15 minutes before they closed to tell me my tires were ready and could be picked up anytime. So I went there to pick up my tires but when I got there it was 5:40 and I learned that they close at 5:30. That was my own stupidity for not checking the times online. July 17 morning, I go to Rallye Motoplex for the 5th time, to pay and pick up my tires. When I came to pay the bill was almost double what it was supposed to be. It went from 55$ to over 100$ with tax. The poor guy working the service desk had no idea. So he went in the back to find out. He was gone for a while and in the meantime another guy walks by and he explains that they had to put in a new tube because mine had holes in it. And a tube is apparently cost 40$. I was shocked at the price and I told him that was ridiculous. He then tells me a long story about how his mechanics need to be paid and this shop cost a lot of money and the machine they have to change tires is very expensive and that his guys need to have Air conditioning in the shop. I didn't know what to say. I just shrugged my shoulders as if to say, "all of this is none of my concern." After a short time of me just standing there listening to his story, he got pissed off and he decided to take the 40$ tube off the bill. He then turns me over to the other service desk worker where I pay the amount that I was originally quoted. I get home to install my tire and it was flat. I proceeded to fill it with air and it filled up like a strainer. The tire they had allegedly replaced the tube in wouldn't hold air... I almost cried thinking I would have to go back to that place and deal with those people again. So I take the tire back to the dealership. This is my 6th trip there, for what I though was a simple job. At this point I was angry. I go there and show them the tire and tell them its not holding air. He said it was holding air when we changed the tire. It obviously wasn't. I didn't go home make holes in my tube. They wouldn't' do nothing I ask them to fix it and the guy who calls himself the service manager proceeds to yell, swear and insult me. Yells at me "get the f*ck out of my building" multiple times. I ask to get something on paper that stated that he refuses fix my tire. He continues to yell and swear in front of other customers who where around. As I pull out my cell phone to record his crazy behavior he calms right down and turn and ignores me. I ask the other calmer service guy to get that on paper. The crazy guy immediately turns to him and points his finger right in the calm guys face and says to him "you are not f*cking writing anything " as if to threaten his coworker. I ask him again and he says sorry that's my boss and I can't do it. So I leave and go to another motorcycle shop to get my tube changed. I explain to the guy who was working the desk what had just happened. He laughs and said I was the second customer just this morning with a similar story about Rallye motoplex. He also takes one look at my tire and notices its been installed on backwards. So not only was it leaking air it was on backwards. Buyers beware of this place. This place does not have qualified mechanics and very terrible service. This is the first time in my life I have been yelled and insulted by an employee at a store. I did not like it. read more

Purchased a motorcycle there, some riding gear and experienced service once. Their inventory when it comes to motorcycles, ATV's, gear, parts, accessories, etc. is incredible. I used to ride a motorcycle form a brand they don't sell there and they would have parts in store that the actual dealer wouldn't have. Staff has been helpful and not too pushy which makes for a good experience. read more
