Horrible experience with this restaurant. The online delivery offers small, medium, and large options. The description says 'a LARGE' chicken patty. It was the size of a child's sandwich at McDonalds. There isn't an option to add tomato, onion, pickle, or extras of each item. I therefore assumed the sandwich came with those options. My mistake - it does not! It did have a single piece of lettuce measuring 1/2" x 1/2". The sandwich had obviously exceeded its holding time. Because it was cold, mayo was turning translucent, and the little piece of lettuce was wilted and turning a dark color. French fries were cold, limp, and over cooked. I didn't bother to look at the hot dog. It all got chucked into the garbage. If it wasn't for the excellent customer service by the Doordash Delivery person and the use of sustainable packaging - this would have been by and far the worst restaurant online service I have received since moving to Madera three months ago. I love Rally's . This review for Madera Rally's is over due. I have frequent this Rally's several times not only for their incredible meal deals but because it is VERY good. My favorite meal deal was the $3 for 3 meal deal which included a small drink, small fries, choice of one of three sandwiches, and an apple pie. However at the start of the year it changed $4 for 3 meal deal which is lame until I found out about the $2 for 2 meal deal, which included a small fry and choice of one of their 3 or 4 sandwiches. I love that meal deal you can't beat it. At this location that I frequent but not recently tends to have problems with their ordering system which tends to slow things down and you have to order at the window which just takes a few extra minutes or feels forever if you are starving. I have not gone back recently to see if it is fixed as I am eating a healthier diet these days. However the customer services had always been great and staff is nice and I receive my order right 100% compared to 70% in Fresno Shaw location. Definitely my Favorite Rally's. I will be back on my cheat day one of these days to eat this yummy treat! read more

Rally's was packed tonight (not their fault) but I got stuck in that awkward spot where I couldn't pull up enough to talk in the speaker so they weren't taking orders for about 5min. Then when I was able to pull up, they had me wait. After a few min of awkward silence and I say hello.. manager answers and asks me to wait lol when I finally get to the window, dude hands me my fresh slushee. Come to find out they make their slushees and drop full ice cubes in it.. to keep it cold I guess? Or the guy needs to be trained on slushee making again. Wanted a burger for lunch and went to Rallies for the coupon deals. A Rally burger, fries and 2 fish fillet sandwiches since I have a craving for fish. This is the second time that I receive terrible quality food from them. I end up throwing my fish sandwiches away because they were old and tasted terrible. I love rally's but the last time I came to this location I was very disappointed. First of all the speaker where you give your order was broken so all I could hear from the employee taking my order was static. I order a value meal and a kids meal...got static in reply. When I went up to pay I noticed how dirty the restaurant looked just from the outside and from what could be seen from the drive-thru. Can't imagine what it looks like inside. I paid and got my food...when I got home I noticed that the chicken nuggets in my kids meal were just cold and soggy little balls of grease. So beyond disappointed. The employees as well as the service is well below human standards looking in as you wait for your food the inside is filthy and looks very unsanitary the food they serve is not fresh and hot it's more like cold and old. I ordered fresh fries and received blanched fries which means they sat in a warmer for an hour minimum then put back in the driers for up to 45 seconds. The customer in front of me waited 5-10 mins to get his order taken. Then I waited 20 mins to get my order. On my way home I notice two sandwiches are missing so i drive back up to the drive thru. Been living here in Madera for a couple months now so I decided to try this place out. I normally don't buy fast food but this place was close by and I was starving. I had the chicken sandwich combo, what surprised me the most was that the seasoned fries were really good. The food tastes like what I remember eating when I was a kid growing up. The first visit was decent. I asked for a freshly cooked burger and got just that! it was juicy and very tasty. Tried it again today and the burger was awful. They totally over cook the meat because they pre-cook and allow them to sit there. By the time they place it on a burger its dry and doesn't taste like ground beef any longer. The chicken wings are great as long as you don't ask for sauce. We had to return our food the first time on todays order and ended up trashing it the 2nd time. Always liked Rally's was driving thru town so I convinced my teen to go there because it was so good. After sitting at the speaker I actually asked out loud "is it open" then a girl said "order when your ready" When we got to the window the girl looked so bothered, did not say anything just handed us our drinks and stood there, she had her hair pulled on top of her head like she rolled out of bed and came to work Literally! I began regretting coming there, just for the sanitation sake and rude service so far, I handed her my card she reached her arm around the window to take it and to give it back, like she was trying to hide behind the sliding window. It was so weird, I told my son she is not happy she had to come to work today!
