After a long drive, was very glad that it had the consistency ambiance layout, quick service, and delicious burger throughout the chain industry. The fries were hard as a rock I was shocked not to mention the lettuce was so water logged it mad our buns sloppy wet. Never have I had a burger from in and out disappointing. Good old fashioned fast food hamburger at a good price. Great shake didn't hurt either. Service was fast and authentically friendly. The young people were noticeably more friendly. First time here due to traveling through town. Super easy for on and off the 99. Super clean inside, easy parking and lots of spots for trailers/rvs. Food was fantastic and staff was super friendly. We ate outside because it was chilly inside and one of the staff offered to bring our food out to us. Will remember this location for future travels! read more

Woo Hoo! Brand new In N Out! This one just opened a few days ago and I just happen to be on my way down to LA to my home corp office. Normally I just blast down the 5 to LA but this time I heard there was a new In N Out in Madera, so I took the 99 instead. I timed it so I got here about 20-30 min before opening at 10:30am. Dang thee was a small line already to go inside. I wanted to see what the inside looked like of a brand new store, so we ate inside. The new location operated just like all the rest of the locations, fast and efficient! I ordered my usual Double Double with extra grilled onions animal style with animal fries and my friend got a Double Double Protein style, basically a lettuce wrapped burger. Cuttin those carbs ya know. Note on the animal fries: while animal style is FREE on a burger, it's extra when ordered with fries, prices seem to vary depending on location. The order was ready quickly as we grabbed a booth. The dining area was so new and shiny! My burger and fries were excellent as usual and my friend was impressed with his lettuce wrapped burger. I just love that first bite into an In N Out burger, close my eyes and let the mouth happiness begin! By the time we finished and back on the road, the line was huge! Definitely took a lot longer right after ordering. Definitely better than the in n out at the location of Shaw in Fresno. Have been to the Madera one about 5 times since they've opened. There has maybe been 2/5 times where something went "wrong". Recently went 2 days ago and my burger came out super salty! (Still better than Fresno) Fries at Madera location are always good and soft, haven't had a bad fry day with them. Another time we asked for a special order and it was just meat and lettuce in a small tray thrown upside down. Other than those two mishaps everything else has been delicious! Especially on Veterans Day when they gave a free hamburger to veterans . I've been lucky enough to go when the line is short at the drive thru! Either no cars or a few cars. Overall recommend the madera location compared to Fresno locations! read more

Unfortunately, my order was wrong and the food was stale (fries and burger) despite there only being 3 cars, myself included--in line. I asked for raw onion and instead got no onions, I asked for light well fries and instead got lukewarm soggy fries. Class of 2018-2020 needs to do better. Hopefully this location improves, but time and better management/quality control will tell. read more

The restaurant was quite dirty. There was dirt on the floor, the tables were unclean, and the trash bins were overflowing. The restrooms were in a messy state, and the entire location desperately needs cleaning. Although there were caution cones everywhere, no cleaning was being done. The kitchen appeared busy, but there were no cleaners in the dining area. Additionally, the carpets at the entrance were muddy and filthy. Given the state of the dining area, it raises concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen where the food is prepared. In-N-Out in Madera, CA really needs to improve its management to ensure that proper cleaning is done regularly. Cleanliness is crucial for both customer satisfaction and health standards. Very dissapointed with my visit to this location. Even if the food is prepared fresh and fast, maintaining cleanliness is crucial for ensuring the food is safe to eat. I've been twice in recent weeks and I'm so glad they located this store in my hometown. My favorite thing about In-N-Out is that their meat is never frozen, the potatoes for French fries are freshly made in house and the vegetables are always fresh and crisp. The best part is that I can get my favorite Single with cheese meal with a drink was $8.65 plus tax. No other fast food place comes close to that pricing here in California which for me, a senior citizen is much appreciated. read more

Lines are long but service is fast! They have plenty of workers. They double and sometimes triple check your order to make sure you're getting exactly what you ordered. Been to this in and out spot about 3 times, each time that I have gone I end up with stomach pain, constipation and even Diarrhea. I didn't want to believe that in and out was the cause but after this last experience I knew that it had to be only because it was the first meal I had eaten the entire day. Please reconsider going to this location if you have a weak stomach. I am officially done with in and out, never eating their again. Well not sure why this In n Out location food pick up in the drive thru is always lukewarm burgers food. That isn't the norm for an In n Out! I suggest if patrons are experiencing un warm food as I, that you post it.
