First, the clothes are quality made, they fit me great, and baby they have color. If you're looking for boring gray and black this ain't it. Next, the store is vibrant, clean, brightly lit and clean. You can tell the staff cares. Now, most importantly the staff. I was greeted by Eric. He was friendly and super helpful. George, the young man who helped me a lot, was friendly, knowledgeable and gave recommendations and shared his opinion. I was checked out by Jimmy. Again, a friendly, helpful person! My kids and I both love the clothing selections and they have Vans shoes that you cannot find anywhere else, even on the Vans website. They also have a hodgepodge of various other items like stickers, air fresheners, fake gold jewelry, etc. They sell skateboards and skateboard parts as well. One of my favorite T-shirts' came from here. It embarrasses my wife when I wear it because I get so many compliments on it and it says SEX! Ha. I'm not sure why it embarrasses her. Huge selection of Carhartt, Dickies and other brands equally at home on a construction site or clubs on N.Thomas. Fairly priced treasures like Guayabera shirts, 'Dad-plaid' flannels, "REAL" silk ties and basics like boxers, socks, thermal underwear and the like. The also carry toiletries like pomade (no 'Dapper-Dan' though) and hair tonic.

In fact, I remember when it used to be a Repp B&T & a Casual Male. When DXL took over, it got CRAZY EXPENSIVE -at least more than I want to pay for clothes. I remember once they had a selection of pocket squares for close to $100 each! (Just the hankie. No tie included!) Well, now a big guy can finally find a nice selection of designer labels (Polo Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Vineyard Vines, True Religion, etc). I've seen sizes 6X and size 60+. Personally, I can shop for my size in many department stores at much lower prices (albeit the selection is very poor elsewhere.) Clearance Back Corner: Yes, I'm the guy who starts in the back of the store and first looks for any bargains first. For the past few years, their clearance corner is pretty meager. The selection is slim and most items are only 25% off the sticker price. YUCK! Merchandise: The products are high-quality. I still wear sportcoats, slacks, jeans, etc. I purchased from DXL many years ago! Coupons: I no longer get any discounts that "wow" me or compel me to visit.
