I thought I could do that job myself but when I read about how detailed it is with the connected airbags and the seat disassembly I decided to call a professional. Drakes gave a great quote and they did fantastic work. I even had them do a showroom detail while I was there and the car now looks like it just came off the lot. With the replacement seats up front and the newly cleaned and conditioned rear it looks amazing. I just need to break the front seats in a bit because I had not removed them from the box to let them flatten. By the way Blanca the leather seamstress does incredible work. Before you buy anything online to install you should stop to see what she can do. It's very reasonably priced and exceptional quality. For the exterior George was great! His buffing detail was amazing and he even touched up a couple of paint chips with the tiny little brushes that he has. A gentleman stopped by to get gas at the adjoining Sunoco service station and he walked over to see how my car was turning out. He had a 2014 Chevy SUV that was black like mine with heavy oxidation. " This instantly caught my eye and I decided to give them a call. They explained to me that they were too busy doing commercial projects right now to work on a single piece of furniture for residential. I was trying to speak with the girl on the phone and get more information on if they just had one department that worked specifically on furniture restoration for residential or if they had several people that worked in that area....mainly because what I'm wanting done is somewhat different. I did not want to wait around for two or three weeks, only to find out that there was no one that could do exactly what I was wanting done. I thought that she might have someone call me back and speak to me about my project. However, that was not the case at all. She again, made it quite clear that they did not have time to work on anything I had at this moment. And she also made it clear that I seemed to be annoying her. As it turns out the owners Mark and Jena Miller who own M & F Fabrics, LLC, also own the Calico stores in Sarasota and Naples Florida. This store was poorly run and in response to months of attempts to find resolution all I received was an email stating this matter had been resolved without a signature. That's right no name was signed, I do not know who this email came from. In my opinion, this store treated me unfairly and the manager, Jasmine Ortiz behaved unprofessionally by telling me they would remake my valances for 4 months and then reneging. It is my opinion, that consumers should not do business with them.

Phil responded and gave me a couple quotes based on photos I sent but gave a realistic expectation that he would need to see the piece in person due to the damage being against the grain to see if an in-home touch up could be done or if the entire surface would need to be refinished (no one else I contacted even mentioned this and some charged for an in person evaluation which Adam's Furniture Repair doesn't). He came and evaluated the piece and we decided to do an in home touch up which I'm really pleased with! I've had this piece since I was a child so it has sentimental value as well as being a quality piece. He also did a couple smaller fixes on two other pieces of furniture I had. Not only did they repair the broken leg that I brought it in for, but they also fixed the other two legs, noticing that they were in need of repair as well. They even identified the wood that the base was made out of for me, noting the tables quality.
