In the past, while managing two mobile home parks, I could never get ahold of my technician or know when/if he came by to service mice infestations of the office trailer. I requested a new technician after that and got Jessie and boy did that make a difference! Jessie is dependable, hard working, knowledgeable and super friendly. I am terrified, like unnaturally scared of spiders and mice, and he went through every crack and cranny of that trailer and filled in holes where they might be getting in. I never even had to call and schedule him again after that, he keeps track of the schedule and shows up when needed, which is everything when you're a property manager or homeowner. He also does his very best to make himself available if there's an emergency situation which is great. Definitely recommend 10/10 for pest control when you're a scaredy cat like me!!

There's also the hazard of my allergy to bee venom, so I decided to take his advice. I've had the best luck with local companies, so I decided to continue the pattern. In this case, I won. I got the proprietor almost immediately and he scheduled me for the next day despite being a one man business, which strongly impressed me. He mentioned in my call that he doesn't like to just do one time sprays because bugs are so persistent. This told me that customer care was key, and that's something I wanted to contribute to. It turns out I really needed to have someone out. There were five wasp nests on my property, and all were taken care of. He even sprayed my irrigation house and garden shed, which I didn't expect and was pleasantly surprised. When it came time to pay, I was offered to just do an entire year, which I accepted, because I hate having debts, especially when it comes to people who do me such a strong service. This guy clearly cares about his clients, and I cannot recommend him more highly.

I sent a clear, explicit cancellation notice in writing on Thursday, May 28th, specifically stating that I wanted to cancel my account and the upcoming appointment scheduled for Tuesday, June 2nd. The representative, Jeremiah, replied confirming the cancellation but noted a $70 early cancellation fee (reimbursing the initial sign-up discount). I responded over the weekend to ask about it. Instead of pausing or processing the cancellation, they used the weekend lapse to claim my cancellation was "unconfirmed." They then sent a technician onto my private property unannounced on Tuesday, June 2nd, to perform an unwanted, unauthorized service, and immediately auto-charged my card $129.99. When I expressed my frustration, Jeremiah told me that because I hadn't given them permission to run the $70 cancellation fee over the weekend, my account had to stay active and therefore the June 2nd treatment was "valid." This is so unprofessional. A cancellation fee is a consequence of terminating a contract, not a hurdle you have to clear before they respect your boundary to stop entering your property. They refused to refund the unauthorized $129.99, forcing me to file a formal dispute with my credit card company. I am fine (but not happy) to pay the contractually obligated $70 fee to sever ties, but their underhanded tactics to force a recurring charge after written notice are unacceptable. Guard your credit card info and look elsewhere for pest control.
