Shredded beef enchiladas with chili sauce.
    Brandi G.

My husband and I just recently relocated to Woodward. We noticed this restaurant always has a packed parking lot, so we wanted to give it a try. I ended up getting shredded beef enchiladas and when the waiter asked what sauce I asked for my options. He mentioned a chili sauce so being from California and being hispanic I asked is that like an enchilada sauce he said yes. So I said ok perfect assuming it was traditional. When receiving my food I was given a literal chili sauce like something you would put on a hot dog. The meat it self was good but the chili sauce was not it. After reading I see the restaurant is actually tex mex. My husband got carne asada and he wanted the rice and beans and a side of fries. He was brought meat and fries. The waiter clearly misunderstood him. He did end up bringing the rice and beans after we explained. His meat had lots of flavor. Lastly I found it kind of an inconvenience we had to purchase a liter of horchata when I was the only one that wanted 1 glass. So my husband ended up having to drink it also. It was a little over 4 glasses. For 8.99 I believe. Needless to say it wasn't our cup of tea. So we will not be returning. If you are used to authentic Mexican food there's a chance you will not like it.

Got the Chimichanga. Recommend shredded chicken and beef. Was amazing. Finished with a Chimichanga cheesecake must save room for that. Service was excellent!! Don't leave town without trying it!! Don't believe some of the bad reviews. They must not like authentic Mexican, they must go to Taco Bell. Lol.

Ground beef has no seasoning. Corn tortilla doesn't hold shape and tasted like a flour tortilla. I did ask and was told it is corn.

The most bland Mexican food we've ever had. No spice to be found. We won't be back. I had tacos with corn tortillas, first time a corn tortilla was flimsier than a flour tortilla. My husband had chicken fajitas, no liquid whatsoever on the plate.

Place always has cars in the parking lot, but I don't know if it's really all that. Food is just on par with a lot of the other Mexican restaurants around here, the service is good though. Had horchata for the first time here. It was good but I thought it was really sweet (I don't know if that's just the way it is or not). Guess it's just a cool place to hang.

All in all it's a good place. I can't say it's the best Mexican food I've had, but certainly not the worst. If u we're to say anything, it needed more flavor. Nice waitress, cold drink and hot food.

OMG the size of this thing!

Service was so-so, a young new girl who wasn't familiar with the menu. Food was good and good size portions. I would recommend to others.

Apparently spicy food doesn't exist in Woodward. Really underwhelming for the price. Don't recommend at all.

Okay, first off, not sure what to call it but our waiter made me uncomfortable. Food was not great. Chips were stale. Won't be back.

This place is really good, really happy with the service and quality of food. However it did destroy my butthole.

They brought out the typical chips and salsa, but also a cup of cheese dip, very good.

Being solo, I walked to the bar (cantina!) and, after being greeted quickly and warmly, ordered beer and choriqueso. I'm all for unique interpretations of anything, especially food. And I'll admit that when I order choriqueso, I'm expecting runny cheese dip with chorizo in it. I got a bowl filled with chorizo and topped with melted cheese. Okay, fine. Whatever. I ordered mixed fajitas; that's a good way to see how they do their meats. Basically you're going to get marinated (hopefully) meats, grilled with peppers and onions and served with warm tortillas. This one was unique: grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, roughly chopped after the cooking fact, served on a pretty deep bed of peppers and onions, topped with lots of chorizo and melted cheese. Really, it was hard to find the meat under there. It was okay; but distinguishing the meat from the chorizo/cheese shield was a bit of a chore. And so, I don't think their fajitas were enjoyable, at least as fajitas per se. At one point, the wait/bar gal was talking to the manager about how my check was added to another table who'd already left. When I got my check, I was surprised that it was over sixty bucks. I asked for an itemized, and said, I had three beers, maybe four. Not six. Waitressgal said no, she gave me six. I chose not to challenge the point; paid my bill; tipped well, and left. My overall impression: Environment 8/10 Service 7/10 Food 4/10 If I were in this town again, I'd try other places.
