I went in and they are selling things sometimes for $80+ for a picture? Goodwill more like downhill. no room for less fortunate people I guess.

So, I finally made it to 2Create yesterday ... What a cool gallery to have in Ramona! My husband…read moreand I found it reminded us of small art centers we have visited in Hawaii. How fortunate we are to have this in our town! We met artists Irma Pina-Garner and her husband, Ed Garner. They are such kind and genuinely interesting people who are so passionate about their crafts. No pressure to buy! When we got home my husband and I talked about how much we would love to have one of Irma's silk paintings so we measured a couple potential spots and I went back today to measure her pieces that are on display and I ended up staying almost an hour just talking to Irma and Ed and looking at more art in depth. One of the things I was concerned about was that one of Irma's pieces was almost perfect but I wasn't sure that the color of the mats would work in the space we are considering. She said no problem, we could work with her framer (Bill Anderson, the Frugal Framer) to do a changeout for a reasonable price - or maybe we will just start from scratch with one of her unframed pieces. Thanks to the Begents for bringing this special space to Ramona!
