The 5 star review is obviously a friend of this family business. Now, I can't speak for the whole agency, but only for Tammy Ramsay, who owns the business so there is that... If you are thinking of selling a house with Tammy, she is good for an MLS listing and that's all. If you are buying a place and she is the sellers agent, good luck and be ready for some extreme frustration. My parents just bought a place and she was the sellers agent. She didn't show the house, the owner did. She didn't show up for the inspection, the owner did. She showed up 20 minutes late for the final walk through, and didn't bother to show up for the closing. The deal took 4 months. Our buyers agent couldnt get her on the phone, she didn't answer emails or texts. She could've disappeared and we wouldn't have known better but a friend follows her on social media and there she was posting pics of her partying. Super Bowl in particular, also a day she wouldnt respond to us. The sellers themselves were not the brightest and being they basically sold their own house, they had no guidance and took the maximum time possible to get out of a house that was empty for 3 years. Shame on you Tammy for being as bad of an agent as possible. You will be reported to LIBAR and I hope they take your license and your gravy train stops. Tammy is very unprofessional. I was looking at a home and over heard her talking about another family looking to make an offer. She acts like she owns the market and specific neighborhoods. She should humble herself and realize everyone has the right to buy the home of their dreams. I would never use her nor do I want to look at a home she lists. Update - he's done it again. This realtor, Justin Galbraith, makes it his practice to move families into rentals and then actively place the home on the market within months. His latest listing is a home on Lewis Circle where he rented the home to a family in the early fall/end of sunmer, then listed the home for sale WITHOUT INFORMING THE RENTERS, within months. While property owners have every right to buy and sell as they see fit it is just wrong to do this to a family as a business practice. Stay away from this realtor and this real estate company if you want to avoid unethical behavior. read more

Anyone that works with Ramsay Realty has likely experienced one of their many festive, generous traditions like holiday pie door -drops (pumpkin and/or pizza!), summer boating with a spread for kings and queens, wine tasting ladies nights, Turkey Trot after-parties, St Patrick's Day Parade party, etc. Far beyond closing on your dream home or selling as soon as you say the words... these cherries on top are a few things that definitely make the "Ramsay difference." For me, personally, Tammy Ramsay has been all of the above and OH SO much more. When it comes to buying/selling, Tammy had the opportunity TWICE in the same year to show exactly how and why she's the best in the damn land. Huge win number 1: We unexpectedly put an offer on the first house we looked at on Long Island- height of the market Spring '22. Even though Tammy's true colors absolutely shined through when she advised us not to pay $150k over asking price on day 6 of 6 of a bidding war (for the ages)- she stopped at nothing to close the deal (even throwing in her commission to get 'er done!!). Huge win number 2: About a year later we unexpectedly had to sell just as quickly as we bought it. With no surprise, Tammy stopped everything mid-holiday (Christmas + New Years!) to get the job done again through an off-market, cash deal that was off our hands before we blinked. What could have been 6 months to a year long nightmare process during an already extremely complicated chapter- Tammy made painless, while connecting a buyer and seller that equally needed the sale done as quickly as possible for different reasons. And it doesn't stop there. Who provided an extra weekend-long team of movers from her personal staff when duty called? Tammy. Who "got a guy" for the random thing you need removed or sold off your property? Tammy. Who showed up mid-moving day chaos with a bottle of Veuve to soften the blow? Tammy. Rick Ramsay and his two agents LISA Kennedy and Tracy Sobel were very unprofessional. They said whatever what was necessary to make us believe in their ability to sell our home. Unfortunately they said what we wanted to hear and never delivered. They said whatever they had to do so we wousign the contract but Ramsay Reality and the team of these 3 never delivered their end of the contract. Not only did they not do what they were supposed to do but unfortunately we had to make a formal complaint at the Board of Long Island Realtors. I wouldn't recommend these unprofessional agents to sell your home. They are nothing but lying and conniving people. .. read more

Literally, the worst realtors in Suffolk County. I was looking at houses in Brightwaters for myself and my wife and found a house I liked on Lombardy Blvd. The listing agent was Tanya A. Fuchs of Ramsey Realtors. My wife reached out to her to schedule an appointment and after hearing my wife's hispanic-sounding name, her tone changed and she said that she would call her back. After two weeks on not hearing back, I called her from another number myself and gave her an American sounding last name. She immediately told me she could schedule an appointment to see the house for the next day. Their loss as I was planning to offer over listing price for the property. I will file both an ethics complaint as well as a discrimination claim with NY State Division of Human Rights. It didn't matter to her that my wife was pre-approved for a house twice as much as her listing due to her hispanic-sounding last name. Do not do business with these people and especially avoid Tanya Fuchs. Just one look at their Realtors will show you they hate diversity. Other brokers I dealt with in my house search have told me that it is common knowledge to those in the business that Ramsey Realtors only caters services to a certain demographic. Additionally, they don't like to show their listings to other real estate brokers. Wake up, its 2018, Jim Crowe laws and legal segregation are no longer around. read more
