The ones who were not working were chained up on a very small chain and running in circles to keep themselves entertained. The dogs who were working fought a lot, and we had to stop several times because of it. It's not fun at all to see dogs fight violently. One of the dogs that was pulling my sled was also injured (limping) but they did not seem to care about that. Do not come to this place, the dogs are clearly mistreated, aggressive, and there is also a lot of poop on the track which you can smell. I feel for these poor dogs, I left feeling sad and like I had wasted my money.

DREAM DAY. Holy…read moremoly, our morning at Inukshuk is going to go down in our history books, no doubt about it. If I ever get Alzheimer's, dogsledding will be the one thing I never forget. The fact that this is something you just can't really do in Australia factors in to the enjoyment a bit, I suppose, but this truly was an amazing experience on its own. See, I broke my ankle five weeks out from my amazing overseas White Christmas holiday and things were pretty grim for me. Not only did Inukshuk let me still go on a dogsled, but they covered my legs in a big fur coat (my mum in the sled behind me was very jealous of this and by the end of the ride I was super grateful) and one of the mushers was my guide. Plus we were right up the front! That bit was a real struggle for me on my crutches in the snow but I wholeheartedly appreciated it once I was in the sled. Stunning views and nothing but clear track ahead of us. I gotta clear something up for you all, too: YOU WILL NOT BE ATTACKED BY FLYING DOG POOP AND WEE. It's true, this was a fear of mine after reading reviews and hearing comments from others. It may be that some sled dogs just keep running but the teams at Adventure Inukshuk come to a halt, do their thing and then take off again. Yes, sometimes you skid over the poop and things smell unpleasant for a couple of seconds, but uh... that's life? It's no big deal? And if dog poop smell is the worst thing that'll ever happen to you, I think your life is pretty good. My family and I did the half-day sledding adventure, making sure we'd get plenty of pre-sledding puppy cuddles in before the big ride. And it WAS a big ride! Almost two hours of sledding through stunning white forests and fields took my breath away (because it was really pretty and also because it was really bloody cold). You do pause for a break in the middle of the ride, but it's only long enough to snap a couple of photos and maybe swap mushers (when you don't have a busted ankle, you split the work between yourself and a friend) and then get back on the track again. A clever idea would have been to bring a thermos along for this pitstop! But then I would have had to find somewhere to store it... Inukshuk have plenty of snow gear for you to wear if you're an Australian who just doesn't own the right warm clothing for being out in the elements for over two hours. I strongly recommend borrowing everything they have available, from snow jackets to snow pants to snow boots to snow gloves, because you will find no matter what you do you will not reach a suitable level of warmth. Except perhaps if you're almost constantly jumping off the back of the sled and running to help out the dogs (they encourage this where possible). We got bogged a couple of times but my musher Phillip was such a rad dude that I didn't panic, he was very confident in leading the dogs to get us back outta those hilariously big and fluffy snow piles. I learnt a lot of awesome stuff about mushing in general, like the fact that musher language (to give the dogs directions and commands) is universal. The dogs at Inukshuk seem to love their job and the mushers speak so fondly of them, you gotta believe them. Magic, magic, magic day. Add this one to your bucket list.

There are a variety of ways to expereince the falls, cable car ( was not operational) , suspension bridge, zip line ( not operational) and 400 plus stairs. There are several lookout platforms to take in the e views of the falls and Quebec City. A quick 15 minute drive outside of Quebec City , Montmorency Falls should definitely be on your list of spots to visit in Quebec!

What a wonderful experience my husband and I had. The staff (Justin,I believe) was extremely helpful knowledgeable and patient with our questions. They introduced us to our team of dogs and we were in our way. The weather was less than grand but the experience was amazing!! I would highly recommend them! We each had an opportunity to drive/ride the sled and they made time for photos. As the ride came to an end they allowed us to see hold and pet the puppies they had onsite. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! My wife and I are avid Motorcyclists, so while we were in Quebec we hoped to rent some motorcycles…read moreor maybe some Can-Ams. We couldn't find anywhere near the city that rented proper motorcycles, so I looked into scooters! Quebec adventure tours was perfect. The guy who signed us in was a hoot. Spoke English as well as French, and he was funny! He did a perfect job of introducing us to the scooters (we've never ridden automatics before!) One of my favorite things is that he did a perfect job of balancing the fun of riding with the responsibilities and dangers. He didn't scare the new people, but made sure they understood how to stay safe and have a healthy respect for the bikes. The scooters were 50ccs (a fair bit smaller than my Kawasaki 1700!!) They were tons of fun. We toured around the island for about 4 hours. We'd driven the island many times before, but seeing it at a slower pace without the frame of a car around us was amazing. We got to see the island in a whole new light. I highly recommend seeing the island by scooter or electric bike, and I highly recommend Quebec Adventure Tours! A solid 5 stars!

There's a choice of a simple 2 minute walk down halfway through wooden stairs to the wooden…read moreswinging bridge or a few minutes going down more steep wooden stairs to walk over jagged rocks to the falls during low tide where we saw people fishing. We first weren't going to walk over uneven rock's all the way to the falls because it was getting late, but my boys were way ahead and wouldn't stop when we yelled for them to return, so we ended up following them and I'm glad we did. When I arrived around the corner, there were 3 more falls behind the tall rock formation, hidden in a nook so maybe you can see if from the right side of the bridge or the wooden walk, but you can't take a great panoramic picture of all of at once. It was spectacular to see different waterfall formations altogether up close. However, be careful because some parts can be slippery and you need a lot of balance to walk on the rocks. A friend of mine scraped his leg tripping over the rocks, so going to the bridge may be a better option for those who can't make the trip to the falls. People also fish near the falls and saw huge fish in a bucket. There 's a lot of free parking at the waterfall area, a concession stand that sells icecream, slushies and drinks that close at 7pm (that barely spoke english, so i'm glad i had my son to help order in french) and a restroom before going to the falls.

However, given that this is a "natural attraction" I was very disappointed that the otherwise lovely boardwalk was infested with many invasive species, like Japanese Knotweed. I think when making nature the focus of an attraction, it should be protected better than seems to be the case, at least along the boardwalk. Also of note .. you can easily take the funicular down and up to avoid much walking if need be. Clean facilities at the bottom and top.

Getting uber there to pick you up isn't very easy. Can't wait to go back.
