bad quality broken fence pickets a lot more expensive than…read morewhat my neighbors paid for their fence & gave them the opportunity to fix their mistakes and came out twice and did nothing fence wasn't screwed in right so bottom pickets are all cracked & i asked them to fix it & they came out and didn't replace. every single board along the bottom is cracked where they screwed boards in sideways. left the barcode sticker on every single fence picket!!! talk about lazy and still didn't remove after i asked them to. my neighbor is replacing her fence and the fence that we share she showed me how its already leaning it looks awful and hasn't even been six months several boards on my neighbor side of the fence sections just weren't screwed in at all. on bottom and i gave them the opportunity to fix and nothing was ever fixed. compared it with the one fence on the right side that i share with neighbor and they did crap work and neighbors fence looks great compared to mine. ii did give them the opportunity to fix it, but nothing was done. the posts are not in properly nothing nothing nothing nothing done right you would think them living in my neighborhood and getting a lot of repeat business from neighbors they would do a good job but didn't seem to care. it's not like you get what you pay for because they charged way more than both of my neighbors were charged and both neighbors were very happy with their fence company. mine looks terrible.

Yard Birds owner took the time to explain to me where my problem could actually be coming from. He promptly sent his crew to diagnose the issue. Jack and his partner arrived and worked hard digging holes to locate the broken wire. Jack clearly explained to me my options and his plan since the broken wire was determined to be either under a large tree root system or beneath the pool deck. They came back the next day when they said they would and ran wire, covered all the holes, and checked the entire system out. You could tell they were being really respectful of the property and trying their best to fill and level the ground to make it look good. They even used some of the dirt to go to an area where they noticed erosion and filled that in too. I have used Yard Birds multiple times in the past 25 years. They are a dependable quality company with a reputation that you can count on.

Brandon even allowed me to do some of the work myself, and when I punctured a drain on my property that I was unaware of (oops) Brandon recommended that we pull up the whole pipe and replace it. Brandon replaced the pipe and installed it and didn't charge me an extra penny for my mistake that cost his time. Brandon and his crew finished the job to our satisfaction, and beyond. Two years later in 2023 we hired Yard Birds again to do a makeover on our pond. This required more large tree removal, much excavator work, and great skill in shaping the outer edge of our 1/2 acre pond into a heart shape (I know, cheesy:). I am personal friends with the owners of two equipment rental places that Yard Birds uses regularly, and both have great working relationship with Brandon and his company. We paid for it - directly to his wife Felicia, (labor and supplies) but by thy time my husband figured out it was missing they were more than halfway done. Dan apologized and said he'd come back to do it (especially if the township found out! ) but he was really in a hurry to get to Florida to help the folks there dealing with hurricane damage as well. Low and behold a letter came demanding us to put a cap on or face fines and eventually worse. We tried to fight it but no luck. Now we're just waiting on Dan and his crew to get here to replace it. I understand he's having staffing issues so we've tried to remain patient, however the township is another story. They are supposed to be by this week after many months of rescheduling and I will update my review then.
