I've been a patient here for 20+ years and the last two have been THE WORST EXPERIENCES WITH DISRESPECT of the patient. Last year, they called to reschedule my annual days before the appointment. They wanted to love me back quite a bit. Sorry but, I am very busy too and have schedules that I have to work around so, instead, they loved me up 15 minutes. I proceeded to wait over an hour for the Dr and then was very rushed in the appointment. This year, I waited over 40 min for the doctor and was yet again rushed. Had to ask the staff twice if she was coming. I had questions about things which is what you SHOULD cover in an annual - who don see about... Dr Garrison, when she did finally show, was okay and said to send her a follow up not on the outlying things, including a test she knew nothing about and that she'd research and guide me. So, I sent the follow up note only to be chastised and scolded in the note response back. There were over three paragraphs of how I was a bad patient. For asking questions? Seriously? They proceeded to tell me that she spent 45 minutes with me, which is an absolute LIE. Terrible service since being taken over by CU Medicine. In Feb: I literally wrote in the portal I am coming in to find out if I had pneumonia. I got there on time for my appointment and proceeded to wait in a room for over an hour. As I was just going to leave, the doctor whom I have never met before said I could just leave because she's been at work since 7am and hadn't had lunch. I said I had been at work since 6:30 and also hadn't eaten but now I waited on a room for an hour past my scheduled appointment time. She didn't like that. Today March 28. I called as I think my teen broke her toe and potentially her foot and they said they could see her during the last week of April. Or they said I should really go to urgent care. Yes that's what I want to do, pay even more money! DO BETTER!! This is awful!!! read more

My chosen doctor left the practice awhile back and since then I've seen Dr John. I was saddened by the experience with him. I inquired about seeing one of their other doctors, but was told that they don't take "new" patients. My spouse had seen another doctor at this office and was equally left feeling unwelcomed. They used to be a really good practice, but lately I have found it to be a really difficult practice to get a hold of. I left several messages / one with billing and one with my doctor and never got a callback from either one. They make you schedule in a portal. They unfortunately lost my business. Awful! Worst "office manager "Mark" " EVER super disrespectful and rude! They tried to charge me/ my family SEVERAL missed appointment fees; which I left voicemails letting them know I couldn't make the appointments. Two to be exact, with MORE than 24 hours notice; and they refused to see me, or my child, and refused to refill my prescription for levothyroxine (not an addictive OR controlled substance), prior to me paying over $100 in fees, AND scheduling an appointment! Not happening, too many other providers to choose from, that are FAR more ETHICAL ... Do your research folks. READ the reviews before getting roped into going to this place. I started with Ranch View about 20+ years ago with Dr. Piel who was great. Unfortunately, he reached the point of retirement and turned the practice over to Dr. Garrison. This is my first experience with a female GP and it has turned out super. She is the best in many ways. She first of all is very competent and that counts for a lot. After all, if your doctor is not competent, it doesn't matter how well their personality fits yours, they are still not competent. Dr. Garrison is outstanding in that area. As a bonus she listens, smiles, knows her patients, and CARES about you. You are a person not a number. After all these years, I am now 80+ and she is still my number one doctor. I know that I can absolutely trust her with my life and that she cares deeply about her patients. She doesn't always tell me what I want to hear, she tells me what I NEED to hear, no holds barred and that's the key to her success. Tell it as it is with confidence. It's up to the patient to listen at that point and follow directions. Trust your doctor and I do trust Dr. Garrison. I just hope that she never goes away. read more

When I selected Ranchview Medical two years ago, after being with a PCP for more than 20 years, I felt the practice was like a breath of fresh air. There was an insurance company offering lower premiums, which Ranchview was not a part of yet I elected to pay a higher rate because I liked the practice that much. I know Covid has had an incredible impact on all businesses but the lack of communication from the practice, staff and PCP led me to fire the practice and look for another PCP. Very unfortunate because I really wanted to remain a long-term client of the practice yet their actions are clear they don't want me as a long term customer. read more

I've been going there for 5 years. I loved my Doctor, Jamie Ball, however I've always provided feedback about the poor Customer Service in the front office. Recently, I gave this feedback to Kat, the Office Manager and she did not want to hear it. She was highly defensive and rigid in her approach to receiving simple feedback around improvements that most every other customer facing business provides on a daily basis. I've given it Jamie and he was defensive at first, but then, upon reflection he came back to me and said my feedback made sense and acknowledged they should listen to customer's complaints and change processes where possible. That said, Jamie caved into Kat and I received a letter from him stating they've decided to no longer provide service to me. These people are pathetic. read more

If there was a zero rating, I would gladly give it. I signed up for a weight loss program back in March/April and pre-purchased 16 Lipo-B shots. They had flyers advertising 18 shot for x amount but when I went to purchase them, the 18 "suddenly" turned into 16. There was an expiration date on them of 4 months. During that time, they ran out and extended the "deadline". Well, as it happened, I got down to 2 shots and when I went in on 8/14, they said, "too bad. This expired on 8/3. We are not going to honor this". Seriously? Here I am trying to partner with them to lose a few pounds and I miss the deadline by 9 days? They ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to budge. What do you think their out of pocket cost is for these shots? 5 bucks? maybe 10? I cannot express how utterly disgusted I am with their rigid, heartless attitude. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for weight loss support. 1 month of Nutritsystem is a much better deal than what I paid for these shots and Lipo-B with Phentarmine is available via Groupon all over Denver. read more

I have left over 6 messages over the last 3 weeks (allowing time for call back) the dose of the prescription they sent in was wrong, just needed it adjusted . Still waiting and no call back. This office has gone downhill for a long time but today was the final straw. We started coming here when Dr Cribbs worked here and her departure should have alerted us but we were loyal I guess. Nothing to do with covid just awful service. I'll be surprised if they're in business in a year. The new billing guy Mark, who isn't fit to speak with wild animals, let alone patients stated he felt that there was a billing error. Ok fine I'll check my records when I get home but I remember making payment and haven't received a bill. Nope we're not going to see you unless you pay $118 dollars. Seriously, over pennies you're threatening to not see me? So I told Mark I'd be happy to pay with cash and he stated we've never taken cash so if you don't find a credit card you're not being seen. I advised Mark that I've paid with cash for co pays, etc for years. Calls me a liar and says they've never taken cash. Mark has been employed for 4 mos and Ive been paying cash for 4 years, but hey, trust me he believes he knows everything. I ask for him to pull up my account so at least we can agree that he is incorrect. He refuses and again calls me a liar. All this to see a Dr? The service is on par with what I'd assume would be a prison visit. Never been treated like this anywhere. It's a shame because the location is ideal and it use to be a place that had a family vibe. So a wasted afternoon dealing with a guy who was more n interested in arguing than acting human. Don't bother, find a dr or office that cares about their patients . And one last thing about Mark, he literally tried to class shame me when I said I previously paid co pays in cash saying "you don't have insurance so I don't see how thats possible?" Smirk. Wife was laid off and insurance went away but if I Have the money to pay should it matter? Should be imply I'm less than?? Lol. Hopefully they clean up their act but I'd say it's a long shot. I have been going to RVFM since 2005. I have always had good treatment there. However, my last visit was made me an unhappy camper. I had a 9:30 am appointment with Dr Garrison. At 11:30 I poked my head out of the room to see if Had been forgotten! She finally came in to see me at 11:45am. She was in for an hour giving me a physical.Then I need a couple of shots and a blood draw. I finally left the office about 1:15pm! I did receive thorough care with her and have no complaints with her care. Everyone knows she ALWAYS run late so why do bookings so close together! My time is important too! read more

I have been going to RVFM for 16 years, well before the practice was sold by Drs. Piel and Post to Dr. Garrison and if anything the practice is more outstanding now that it has ever been. Once you reach an advanced age you have definitely seen your share of doctors and once I found this practice and then Dr. Garrison there has never been a need to look any further. I support this practice completely - but that is my opinion. It is unfortunate to see the negative reviews for RVFM since they are one sided and only reviews of the practice and not of the patient writing the post. As a patient, we have as much responsibility for strengthening the relationship as physicians do - doctors are human and every relationship is a 2 way street. My relationship with my doctor is about my health, of course, but it's also about mutual trust, communication and understanding which is freely given at RVFM every day. It is troubling to read that patients feel RVFM does not respect their time, but conversely are you respecting theirs? As a patient, we have an "appointment", not an open invitation to stay as long as we want. It is also sad to read these because it is evident that there are those out there who in all their other relationships they strive to be polite, use good manners, listen, be honest and respectful but the minute they walk into their doctors office all of that goes out the window and they forget how to be human. Please consider that your relationship with your doctor is just as important and requires just as much effort. Ever heard the term, "walk a mile in their shoes..."? Some simple math demonstrates challenges faced by our Colorado PCPs. Our current population of ~ 5.5 million people relies on ~ 2500 PCPs. This means each full time PCP cares for ~2000 patients. If that PCP only sees each patient 1 time a year, that is 1 hour per patient per year. Doesn't add up does it? I will continue to recommend Dr. Garrison and her practice. She is truly a shining example of the ideal PCP. read more

Frankly I'm a fan. The front desk staff is super nice and helpful. Dr. Knepshield seems to be somewhat of a new doctor but he's been amazing. He brings a new perspective to medicine and patient treatment which is refreshing. I am very disappointed with this practice. I went in for an appt because of generally feeling unwell. I was given an appt with one of the PAs, Selena. To start off, her bed side manner is horrible. She couldn't have seemed less caring if she tried. We basically got into an argument because she suggested that what was wrong with me was something that I know it's not. I did have some blood work done of course that was 2 weeks ago and I still have not received any results. Even after calling several times to ask where my results my be. They scheduled me for a follow up annual checkup, needless to say, I will not be going. I'm am done wasting my time with doctors that don't seem to care about helping their patients. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Garrison for 4 years almost now and just love her. She is so kind, always willing to take extra time with me during my physical to discuss any concerns I have. There have been a handful of times I've gotten sick with a sinus infection and they get me right in. I've seen Dr. Knepsheild, Dr. Ball, Dr. Ayala and, of course, Dr. Garrison. I have never been dissatisfied with the service I have received. In fact, quite the opposite of what everyone is saying. They have Saturday hours, which for those of you worried about overpaying, you only have to pay your normal copay not the Urgent Care bill. I have good health insurance and really don't have to go to the office very often. It seems that most of what people are complaining about doesn't have anything to do with RVFM and more with their insurance. Health insurance today is tricky and difficult to navigate. This review is more about the allergy clinic that is tied to Ranchview. It doesn't seem to have a separate business name and my EOB came back Ranchview so I have to assume they're one and the same. I made an appointment with the Ranchview front desk to see the allergy clinic. The check in person told me the clinic would call me 2 days before my appointment to go over what medication I shouldn't take the day of the appointment. No call happened, so I showed up at my appointment time assuming everything was okay. The doctor (Maybe a PA?) called me while I was waiting in the clinic lobby to tell me he would be hour late. I decided to wait since I was already there. After waiting I was told I was supposed to not take one of my medications, and I'll have to come back to get accurate results. I rescheduled, and left feeling really frustrated that no one told me about the medication, and I had wasted a $30 copay. Today was my second appointment, at 8AM. Yesterday the doctor (PA?) called me and asked if I could reschedule my appointment to 10AM. I said no, but I'm not in a hurry and I can reschedule for next week or something. He said he'd call me back if he couldn't make it at 8AM. No call happened. Instead Ranchview called me to confirm my 8AM appointment. I asked them to confirm with the allergy clinic, because I was told 8AM might not work. They insisted it was at 8AM. Today on my way into the clinic at 7:45, the same man (doc? PA?) from the clinic called and wanted to confirm that someone called me to reschedule the appointment. No, no one called. HE was supposed to call but he didn't. He blamed it on someone in the office, and said they're 'really busy'. I don't know why he took my appointment if he's too busy? I feel frustrated again, and I'm not going to reschedule. I went to Dr Cribbs several times about about 2 years ago. Each time I pointed out a lump behind my ear that was about 1/2 inch across. She assured me every time that it was just a cyst & would probably go away on its own. I took myself to see an ENT Dr & it turned out to be a tumor the size of a meatball & I had to have a parotidectomy. The only time I heard from RVFM was the day after my procedure. read more

Despite being told by Ranch View's office manager (Kat) that the $25.00 balance would be "dismissed" I received another invoice reflecting a past due balance. When I called their billing department, they did not honor what Kat had communicated to me on January 19, 2016. Ranch View Family Medicine has lost at least 4 patients over $25.00. Over the last one year, i have seen a steep decline in their services. The Doctors are good but the management has deteriorated tremendously. The Doctor PAs never return the calls after repeated attempts. You have to call multiple times to ask them to confirm on the refill request, and the worst part things do not seem to improve after several complaints with the management. This place was amazing when Dr. Heather Cribbs was here. However after she left it's gone down hill. I took my 9 month old in yesterday because she's had a fever of 103-102 degrees and I just wanted to have her checked out. We saw Dr. Mennic who diagnosed her with an ear infection and sent in the anti biotics, no sooner did I get to the parking lot I got a call that my normal pharmacy was out of the medicine and I would have to drive further (this is not ranchviews fault) so I drive to the pharmacy, and I wait for it to be ready, as the pharmacist is giving me this she kept looking back and forth at my daughter and the medicine and said this is way to much for her. Let me call the drs after hour line and get it straightened out. So we are back to waiting. After about 45 mins the pharmacist says she will give me a call and to PLEASE NOT give my sick dr any of the Medicine until I hear back from her with the correct dose. An hour goes by and I hear nothing so I call the emergency line leave a very detailed message. I wait another hour and repeat the process. Still not hearing back. By the morning I still haven't heard back so I give it one more phone call. No answer no call back. I call the appointment like and finally get to talk to the manager who says there phone must have had a problem, and they call in a new prescription for me (still haven't heard from a dr around 830 am) so I call a different drs office and get an appointment. This dr sees my dr, checks her for the flu which is negative, strep negative, and then checks her ears NO EAR INFECTION. And had I given her the dose originally prescribed it would have been almost twice as much as someone her weight would have needed. I will never be back. I wonder how many other patients have been misdiagnosed and mistreated! read more

Five stars for the docs, but 3 stars for the staff. If you leave a message for the doc's assistant, it often takes more than 24 hours to get a response. Not acceptable in a medical practice. And the first thing out of the mouth of the front desk person is always how much you owe them. God forbid you have a balance. I always cringe when I check in, wondering how much they are going to demand from me before I see the doc. Paid them off in full last week, and this week, I was hounded for a new balance when I arrived for my appt (less than $200) even though she acknowledged that bills hadn't even been sent out yet and I wasn't even aware of what I owed. They need to focus less on money and more on customer service. Discussing money in front of other patients is embarrassing to me and unprofessional on their part. read more

I'll be brief: Asked the doctor in charge of my daughter's care to call. Instead, the Physician's Assistant who saw her called. Asked the PA to have the doctor call; no call after four days. Asked if they discussed the cost of the tests and treatments they recommended with my daughter. Was told by the PA, "that's not our responsibility." Patient-centered. Patient first. I think not. This is the worst clinic to come to. Came here for a weight loss program and bought a packet of injections. Since the beginning, all they tried to do was take my money. Terrible service from CJ and her staff. Huge scam. Moriah was very disrespectful, these people don't care about your well being, all they want is your money. I asked for an extension for my injections and she extended them for a week, knowing well that I had more than a weeks worth left of injections. She got mad and yelled at me, telling me I couldn't get more than 1 shot per week. And I lost my last 2 injections because they refused to give them to me. I lost my money. Moriah was not gentle at all giving me the injections. She needs to go back to wherever she got her certification to learn how to give injections and be respectful to the patients. Overall terrible experience with this clinic. Do not recommend. If you need weight loss treatment, there's better clinics in the area that treat you 100% better than this place. read more

I've been a Ranch View patient for nearly 10 years. Ranch View has consistently provided excellent service and care over that time. Appointments are usually easy to get, the staff is helpful and friendly, and I really like my doctor. I am amazed at how impatient some patients are. All they need to do is to go to another large provider to see how quickly they feel like numbers. No practice is perfect, but I am totally committed to Ranch View for the foreseeable future. read more

Were I able to give less than a star I would. This office's mistakes on our insurance has cost us over $5k dollars. The unwillingness of the office manager to own the mistakes of this practice in not properly providing referrals, coupled with a rude and demeaning attitude, and an unwillingness to go to bat for us with our health insurance has left us feeling out in the cold and shown us the true nature of this place. Ranchview WILL NOT LOOK OUT FOR YOUR BEST interests nor offer solutions, and instead will only blame YOU the patient. Nevermind that these are healthcare professionals who should be well versed in how the healthcare system works. Or the fact that they don't have someone (as far as I'm aware) whose job it is to ensure referrals and care align with the insurance of the patients (as is best practice in other even smaller offices). Great staff and clean practice! Without a doubt the best doctors I have ever been to. Everyone here is so incredibly nice and knowledgable, it makes going to the doctor's office a little easier. Everyone here is always so friendly, you will no longer dread going to the doctor's office. I've been able to get in to see either a doctor or a PA last minute and have never been disappointed. A medical practitioner cannot simply bill every patient for completing a so-called "screening questionaire" that is unrelated to their visit or prognosis...especially when it is never followed up on during the exam! They may as well call it a fee to fill out a form. But if they are actually billing insurance and Medicare/Medicaid for this "service," it is pushing the limits of legal behavior! If you experience this charge on your bill, and are not visiting the office for depressive symptoms, you should definitely ask for a refund for this scam. Better yet, find a more professional office for treatment. There are plenty of examples of screw-ups just in these reviews to give patients pause or concern that this office provides quality medical care. Don't go to this family practice! They will hold your prescriptions hostage They will tell you your prescriptions are good for a year from your annual visit, they they will cut all prescriptions off, and refuse to return a call. Never mind that some prescriptions have very negative side effects when stopped cold turkey. The patient and their well being are absolutely not their focus. This is not a caring and responsive business to rely on. read more
