We were in love with the look however and decided to move forward and hold off on the garage roof. In the original consultation we asked the consultant about the roof over our kitchen which was a low grade roof. He assured us that they could shingle over it. The shingles were a 10 week minimum order since they were special order. The roofer arrived with little warning since they were scheduled to do another job but still we had guest coming in August and it was July we needed to get the roof finished. The final day of the project there was a few issues the roofers ran out of ridge shingles and a crazy rainstorm. After the rain died down the roofers cleaned up and said they'd have to finish another day. They took all the extra shingles and left. Our contract said they would repair a few of the exhaust pipes that were short, leave all excess materials and mentioned nothing about not finishing the roof over the kitchen. I got a call the following week that the ridge shingle were ordered and that they would have to wait for them to come in.. but we still had exposed ridges and it had been threatening to rain so I asked the office when the exposed ridge would be covered.. a week later someone arrived to that. I also went to remove a satellite on our kitchen roof that had been disconnected and left haphazardly and noticed the roof over the kitchen hadn't been completed. Another call no eta on the shingles and now they were telling me they didn't do flat roofing. It took a MONTH to get ridge coverage and the foreman said that they would check out the roof over the kitchen when we came back it wasn't completed nor did the company call me. Be very careful before you enter contact with this company service and answers were less than great and they took all the extra supplies when it was stated they belonged to us

She told me that they would come out the next day and check it out. I stayed home all day waiting for someone to show up, no body came. I called again about 2 weeks ago and this time the lady told me that the ice and snow had caused it and that it wouldn't be under warranty without any inspection. I assured her that wasn't the case and that it was improperly installed. She was very rude and condescending but agreed to send someone out to have a look at it. I told her that I wanted them to install a few more gutters that I skipped before because of money restraints. I still haven't heard from them nor do I expect to. Last year my brother had them over to his place to install some gutters and is totally disgusted with the job they did for him. When he came and did the estimate we made sure and told him the roof above our side door needed to be done also and he agreed. He stated that he could trim the branches for an extra fee which we were fine with and I asked about a back gutter to be put on and he said he could for an extra fee which we agreed on. At first we did not have a timeliness to get it done but a problem with insurance we needed to get it done quickly. When it came time to do the roof it went quickly but he never did the roof by the side door. When I asked him about it he told me that was not part of his estimate which it was and he would need more money but he would do it. The leftover metal from the main roof was plenty to do the side door roof. When he came and did my back gutter the amount of large nails he did not pick up was ridiculous. The tree branch trim and removal we paid him to do. All he did was pull them to the alley where we had to cut up and get rid of. Needless to say he made us feel that this was all our fault which it was not. We paid for all of this out of pocket not by insurance.
