    So easy to pick!

Berry heaven! I was here two years ago and this place still lives up to my high marks. My family made some good memories again. There is a real abundance for several months. They do rotate through as different varities ripen at different times. I may drive back up from orange county gor the peaches in a month.

Great little place to pick berries and other produce. Friendly staff. Great experience for kids.

    Blueberries ripened by nature.

My parents just moved in to Hanford this weekend and I visited them to also check their new neighborhood. My aunt wanted to do fruit picking so I looked up local fruit stands/orchards in the area. This farm was only 3 miles from where we live. I called ahead to make sure they were open. It was still pretty hot out even at 3 pm to go fruit picking. We decided to go a little after 6 pm. Farmer/owner John came out and gave us a private tour of the farm. He took us to the right directions, briefed us on which rows have the apache blackberry varieties. He gave us some tips on how to find the ripe ones including the blueberries. His farm is run on organic practices. There were also nectarine fruits that were $1.50/lb. He gave us a ride back with his golf cart and a complimentary wine tasting! Overall it was a fun experience. Price is way better than what you pay for in costco and you know it's great quality organic fruits. I suggest wearing long pants to avoid rashes from the thorny leaves.

The Oberle's having a little you pick fun!

Our family had a great time picking berries. And the blackberry wine is also very good. Would definitely recommend this place.

Berries were old and hiding on bottom were old mushy moldy ones. If I lived closer I'd bring them back

Thank you to Ashley and everyone at Simonian Farms for helping to make our 40th high school reunion…read moreevent so successful! Everything from the venue's beautiful grounds, dining/bar setup, options of amenities, its proximity to lodging, and food/catering choices were top-notch and many people who attended were extremely complimentary. So much so, that I am going to include some of the comments from our attendees in this review. Here's what our attendees had to say: "Beautiful yet comfortable casual atmosphere", "Casual yet felt very upscale...wonderful hometown hospitality", "hidden gem", "amazing atmosphere for reunions, family gatherings, and other events", and "perfect venue for our reunion...indoor/outdoor aspect works well...there was more room to accommodate a larger group, if necessary". Ashley was extremely flexible with our plans when changes came up, and she always made sure that we had everything we needed (right down to the last minute patio heaters for the surprise cooler weather!) It goes without saying that we would not hesitate to hold another high school reunion at Simonian Farms in the future! Sanger High Class of 1985 Reunion Committee

We thought this would take a week but it took 3 days - those goats take their work seriously. The good: -Billie and the goats and dogs (and emu) are all delightful. Billie was extremely accommodating and hard working. The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. So that's it, thanks for following. I'm really happy to finally be able to present this and I'm actively brainstorming on how we can get a goat co-op going in our neighborhood.
