    Awkward color placement.

I had been going to Vita here for about 4 years and things were good for a while. She had an assistant/trainee the last time I went in who helped with my "full balayage." A day or so after they worked on my hair, I noticed things weren't quite right. The toner was too brassy and the color placement was heavy on one side of my head. Overall, it didn't look like I had just paid for a full balayage. I immediately dm'd Vita that weekend to let her have as much time as possible to schedule with me again. Then I called the following Monday. On Monday, she had someone else call me back for her, stating her only time slot was at 8am on Wednesday. Time wouldn't work for me, so I called back to find out she had left for the day... I messaged her again on instagram and showed her a photo of the mishap and she was very, defensive and claimed that she always put more color on the side of my head with more hair... however, the opposite of that was true this time. By the time she had stopped dodging me to schedule, it felt too awkward to go back in to have her fix my hair.

Cannot blend the back of head and you can see the two different shades around where my ears are. Not to mention uneven

Firstly the address on Yelp is incorrect and should have taken as a sign. STAY AWAY!!! Anyways thinking I'll get a decent hair cut since the price is $27 I decided to go...wow was I wrong, best cuts could have done better for over half the price. I asked what she good at she said fade so went ahead. She was ferociously rubbing the buzzer on my head and it hurt so much I had to tell her to chill. Then she nibbed my ear which didn't feel good either. After the buzz she gave me a quick wash, hair was totally soaked when it was cut after when she was "finished" I and had to non stop tell her to even my sides, then my side burns, then the back of my neck which was first not shaved off then eventually because faded way too high, so now it looks like there are two shades separated by a definable line on the back of my head. Each time in between corrections she thought she was finished and kept saying let's put product in... So if you want to pay $27 bucks to get your hair messed up go ahead!!! I shouldn't have even paid as I now feel like I got messed up and robbed instead of just one of the two. AGAIN STAY AWAY!!! Update: They refunded my $27 after I called them back asking for refund. They agreed in return of my feedback on how they can improve. I should have followed my general rule of not getting haircuts in stripmalls or malls in general. Overpriced for what you get due to rent + underskilled stylists

Randolph's Salon Alanna is awesome! She does a really good job!! I'd recommend her!!!

I like Alaina she can work off a picture you take to her!! I'd recommend having her do your hair!!

I thought I was happy with my hair after I left the salon but the more I looked at it the more upset I became. I showed my stylist 2 different pictures of what I was looking for and also got full highlights. After getting home and really looking at it I was so disappointed in the cut and color. I specifically said I did not like straight cuts and wanted it razored and choppy. I left with a chin length bob and sections of unhighlighted hair. It's been 2 weeks and I still can't find a way to like this cut. I'm not normally one to get upset over a cut but I can't get past this one.

(I went in for a cut and an ombre color.) I have had two disastrous haircuts (NOT at Randolph's - at two different salons) and told Jen all about them.

Always looking for my go to eyebrow spot. And I think I found it!…read more Booking online was super easy and simple. I have always wanted to know what was inside that building/house especially with that gorgeous curved front door. Passed it so many times on University. Parking was easy and nice to have designated parking spots for Bare Philosophy. Walked in and had no idea that you had to take your shoes off. I get for cleanliness sake and winter bringing water/salt, but I wasn't expecting it. I walked in and noticed another patron standing inside with her socks on so I followed suit. I didn't notice behind me that they provide slides to wear after you take off your shoes. There was no staff downstairs so no one to greet me or give instructions. There was a sign that said they were short staffed and to help yourself. It was the day before Christmas Eve. Really pretty inside and welcoming. Lots of areas to look at product. There was a coffee machine. Old historical charm throughout! The other client got brought back and I just was standing around. I finally heard someone in the foyer area and was checked in at that point and brought back to a large room for my eyebrow appointment. We spoke a bit about eyebrow shape and how she likes to keep things natural/follow your natural shape. Can always take off more later if I wanted. I think my eye wax was all of five minutes. Trimming, a few strips of waxing, and then tweezing and that's it. Let me have a look in the mirror and I was happy for the most part. I should've asked to trim my eyebrows a little more. But overall content with the shape. I wish there was something to put on my skin afterwards to calm it down since I get red easily. Again, the whole process was super quick, didn't feel overly personalized with an eye brow shaping/waxing but the job got done. The staff who did my brows was very nice and we made conversation throughout my service. I felt comfortable and no pain with the waxing/tweezing. Afterwards, she checked me out and you can give a tip on a card. $20 is a fair price for an eyebrow wax, what I was paying for at another place in the area.

Those red splotches after waxes that I thought were just part of getting waxed? Nonexistent with Katie. I am genuinely convinced she is magic because I never knew a wax could be this painless before AND after! Also as a gal who has always struggled with intense ingrown hairs, ones that doctors told me could only be fixed with laser, I was stunned when Katie took the time to get all of them out and coached me on how to prevent them in the future, truly above and beyond! She's is the most thorough esthetician I've ever been to, and she creates such a warm and welcoming environment that I am actually looking forward to my next wax!

Following my first session, I noticed significant unevenness and several sparse areas in my brows. I returned for a second session to address these concerns; however, I experienced the same outcome. While my brows initially appeared fuller and more even for about a week, the pigment faded quickly, leaving noticeable bare spots once again. Additionally, the final result appears more "powdered" rather than consisting of defined, hair-like strokes, which was my expectation. I will need to fill in the bare spots with pencil even though I paid more than I ever have for sub standard microblading! I have had microblading done in the past with results that lasted approximately 3-4 years. In my previous experience, a touch-up session was typically included as part of the initial service, rather than being charged at the same rate as the original procedure. I won't be recommending her to friends, family or coworkers and will go elsewhere next time.
