Some businesses come and go, but some staples have had my business for 20+ years like the Water 'n Ice store. Chris is truly amazing remembering both my dad and me by name. They recently went from $.25 to $.35 gallon, but well worth it to support their small business. If you are visiting Apache Junction, this is the plaza I encourage you coming to! This place is a chic, cute boutique full of all kinda things glitz & glam. They also provide articles of clothing such a shirts they can create any kind of bling'ed out creation on , or you can bring in your own and they can "hot iron" your concept on that article of clothing for an additional charge. From hats, to shoes & everything in between "it's all you want in bling'ed out happiness". I was able to have them modify & design a cute decal for my car window! They can customize fonts and have local logo's galore too! My first time in: I met the owner Tammy who was so approachable and friendly. I was assisted by Christine who was just as friendly and so helpful, answered all my questions and was able to come up with excellent ideas for exactly the look I wanted.. When I went in to pick up my decal on Saturday 4/ 28 Tammy & Christine were BOTH working & greeted me so nicely. They also met my daughter whom was with me & she fell " head over heals" for this place! We fell in love with " Luv My Bling" which again is a custom Rhinestone Design store and an adorable retail shop. Tammy has such great style, the items she carries in her store cater to everyone's wants & needs ( or wish lists). LOL It's "for sure", our kinda store! We found the prices reasonable and the customer service "top notch". In our experience it's almost as if your treated like family here! They really want to get to know their customers on a first name bases! It won't be long until we frequent again . My daughter wants them to make her , her FIRST High School T-Shirt before she starts her Freshmen Year in July. She also saw a pair of sandals that are a "must have" for an upcoming banquet she will attend next month. This visit, we did pick up a few hair bands at such a bargain that, we plan to get a few more next time!

As per normal, if I was loaded, I would carpet bag the entire town, because I think all the buildings are just magic. The downtown area of Live Oak St is quiet and beautiful, and away from the main highway. Globe has a beautiful main street too, and restoration of the buildings is the only thing needed to turn it into a thriving tourist spot.

(All pun intended. ) Pieces range in size from a fingernail to clusters over a foot tall. Most fossils are of smaller organisms. No dinosaurs bones here. Fossils are located in the jewelry counter, and around the store. Blue Nugget also has the largest selection of Native American jewelry in Goldfield Ghost Town. Multiple cases of jewelry, along with pieces hanging on the walls. It is an impressive selection. Employees are ready to not just sell jewelry but also give background information about the artist. Dream catchers found here are not limited to the standard design. Many have unique center patterns. Blue Nugget has their share of touristy items as well. They try to stay on brand with those being Southwest and South American themed products. A good portion of the items for children are touristy. A selection of prickly pear and spicy foods, mugs, shirts, small polished rocks/geodes, books, and mass produced jewelry. The list goes on. Commercially made jewelry is displayed seperate from the handmade pieces. This store is well stocked with merchandise. Items are thoughtfully arranged to maximize the space. Shelving matches the old west building they are housed. Historic look and the plethora of products are decor all on their own. When it comes to prices, for the most part, Blue Nugget has the other stores beat. Some of the best prices for a giftshop. Signs declaring this fact are not wrong. I wasn't expecting a giftshop in the ghost town to have such non tourist items. This giftshop could hold it's own outside of a tourist attraction. Blue Nugget is a great resource for gifts. There is no fee to park or enter the ghost town. Especially if looking for fossils or Native American jewelry, I recommend paying a visit to Blue Nugget.
