They were a little pricey but it was also last minute and a holiday so that could've factored into the price. Two complaints: I was moving out of my apartment and there was a dirty spot on the rug after they had already steam cleaned it. I think one of the workers may have tracked in mud. I asked if they could just go over that spot once more with the steam cleaner and they didn't instead they tried to rub out the spot by hand which didn't really do anything. The other complaint is, even though they didn't want to, they helped carry a few pieces of furniture out to the curb (which the owner put in my contract that they were to do) and they damaged the wall in the apartment. My landlord had to withhold part of my security deposit due to that.

She was professional, attentive, thorough, and punctual from our very first conversation. She came out for a site visit, confirmed the requirements in person, and gave me upfront pricing -- no website forms, just a straightforward conversation with someone who actually understood the job. Her team tackled every nook and cranny of a 40-foot trailer. Dust was caked on above the furniture, and the vent covers had years of grime on them -- now they're sparkling. They even cleaned inside the air vents themselves. It was not an easy job, but they took it on without hesitation and did a fantastic job. Shelly's follow-up was excellent too -- when I asked her to take a second look at a spot, she and her team came right back and went above and beyond what I'd asked for. A month after purchasing our home last year 2016 we contacted Tidewater & Crew to come over to consult us and give us an estimate on having our kitchen and bathrooms caulked and grouted. (Best rule of thumb is to have this done about every 6 years plus, depending on how bad the old grout is coming off and crumbling.) Ed contacted us back fast and we were able to get him scheduled to come over and look at our problem areas. He's friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and shows up on time. He did an excellent job throughout the whole house. When Ed was re-grouting our master bathroom walk in shower he came upon an issue we had with the shower floor. All around the floor's edges the grout was wet! He removed the old grout and we let the shower sit unused for over a week to see if it would dry out, well it never did. He advised us to look into this thinking something might be wrong with the pan liner underneath and the pitch looked wrong. ( Later we discovered after having the bathroom floor pulled up that indeed the pitch was off causing the water to flow back into the walls and not downward into the drain. Also when the drain was installed it was never set down/screwed into the wooden bottom floor, it sat about a half an inch above so it wasn't allowing the shower floor to drain properly! And the original pan liner was compromised due to someone putting nails in the inside causing water to leak through it to its underside to the cement. Water went the whole way down past the cement reaching the wooden flooring structure of the house underneath. We caught this just in time before it reached the room bellow's ceiling! ) Thank you again Ed for all your wisdom!

We've been using Maurice and Vani to clean our house for several years. They have always been…read moregreat. They are reliable, honest, and take good care of our home. They are willing to adapt their cleaning methods if there is something we are not 100% happy with. And if there is something beyond regular floors/bathrooms/dusting, they are happy to handle other tasks (for a reasonable additional cost). Beyond doing a good job, they are also warm, trustworthy, and hardworking people who we are happy to support in their small business. We trust them with the keys to our home, which is saying something. And they are great with our dog, too. If I had one critique, it would be that their main focus is general cleaning. They use "regular" cleaning products and elbow grease to get the job done. That's good for 98% of jobs. So, you may need to ask them if you need them to do something different. For instance, to use a bleach-based cleaner to get a white enamel fixture really white again. Or to use a CLR-type product to remove rust stains (they would likely scrub things down really well, making them clean, but not necessarily removing the rust stain). But again, if you ask, they will happily adapt and take care of it. And remember for future times, too. As you can tell, we would highly recommend them. --- [I don't know if it is worth addressing the one bad review I see, because I don't know their situation, but I find their complaint to be highly unlikely. Do they know what their landlord paid for in terms of cleaning? You can pay someone to do a basic cleaning of floors and bathrooms (1.5 hrs work and a low price) or pay a team of people to spend 8-10 hours scrubbing appliances, doing windows, etc (at a much higher price). I'm guessing the landlord paid for the former (basic floors/bathrooms at a relatively low cost), while the tenant expected the latter (all-day scrub-down at a very high cost). I wouldn't blame these honest and hardworking people for that misunderstanding.]
