I filled out a form on-line, picked a time online to drop my car off at Safelite AutoGlass, returned laler the same day and the glass had been replaced. They even moved my oil change service tag from my broken windshield to the new one. It was a very easy and convenient process. The only reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 is an issue that probably isn't related, but the timing made me question it. Two days later I drove across state and left my vehicle outside for two nights. It snowed. When I went to turn on my wipers (after what I thought was long enough for it to warm up), they would not work. They were stuck and I assumed frozen. I ended up having to take my vehicle into the dealer where they told me the wipers gears were stripped. Again, probably not related to having my windshield replaced but the timing just makes me wonder.

This happened on a Thursday morning but carglass could not give us an appointment until a week from Friday 45 minutes from our house. I arrived at the appointed time and they said it would be ready in 2 hours. They called an hour later to say they did not have the correct windshield and could not fix it and asked if I needed the car. My French speaking friend angrily told them to find one and fix it that day as they knew well in advance the model, etc. they did find one but could not have the car until the end of the day. I returned that evening to find that they had broken the new windshield while replacing it and could not get another one for 15 days. This time the windshield was. Rosen on the driver's side and the car was unsafe to drive. I called the insurance and they towed the car to the dealer and it was repaired I. One day. Do not use Carglass. They are incompetent and uncaring about their customers
