I came in this morning with a food allergy test kit from my doctor. The front desk woman was…read moretending to another person so I sat down to create some space. I was immediately greeted by a technician who noticed my box kit and gave me paperwork on a clipboard and pen to fill out. I spent some time listening to the African-American woman at the front desk and was impressed by her patience with hyper-verbal, language barrier and nervous people asking/talking/being pushy about their lab work. She spoke to be understood, not simply to respond, and that takes finesse. The technician asked me which arm I preferred and was gentle with my desire to have a butterfly needle used. This means a lot to a person to be heard and respected of their wishes and not just rushed to get the job done. I was in an out of there in a jiffy, even with others coming in and going out. That was nice, as I was fasted and looking forward to eating something quickly!

Anyway, quest is good for blood a urine draws, they also offer tests that you might need like strep, flu, etc. Anyhow, there are many Quest locations around DFW. I prefer this one. I highly recommend downloading the app and using it to make a reservation. They do take walk ins as well. I have never had a bad experience at this Quest (my experiences have been for post physical blood draws and a strep test in once). They have a waiting room with 10 chairs and two check in kiosks. Their staff has always treated me friendly and with respect, (and I should mention that respect is a two way street). Anyway, the quality of care has been great in my opinion. So I hope if you need to is Quest's services that you have a positive experience as well.

Valerie, the worker, says she is just one person. Clearly, inefficient management to stack appointments. While waiting for over an hour, one lady said her appointment was at 1:30pm and still not serviced. Notable what she needed done, but I'm assuming the worker was not available and she wasn't being told anything. Avoid if possible. First and last time at a Labcorp. Just like the other reviews I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Side note three other patients arrived after me and all got seen. I sought to understand by asking the front desk what's going on in a very polite way saying "hi do we have an estimate on my turn I've seen other people get helped before me and wanted to get an estimate" the front lady with colored eyes responded passive aggressively " well we do more than ultrasounds" I then proceeded to be more direct and ask" why have others been helped before me even although I arrive before them. I wanna make sure I wasn't missed " she responded " it's fine take a seat". She could improve on her responses, specially I came from a positive and polite way. India was the best part of the experience she was my technician that preformed the ultra sound. I can only give this place 3 stars due to her. She saved this place from getting 1.
