Yikes what an experience, where do I start. I needed to acquire an ultra sound and was referred by my doctor to this place. I called, set an appointment, and arrived on time. Just like the other reviews I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Side note three other patients arrived after me and all got seen. I sought to understand by asking the front desk what's going on in a very polite way saying "hi do we have an estimate on my turn I've seen other people get helped before me and wanted to get an estimate" the front lady with colored eyes responded passive aggressively " well we do more than ultrasounds" I then proceeded to be more direct and ask" why have others been helped before me even although I arrive before them. I wanna make sure I wasn't missed " she responded " it's fine take a seat". She could improve on her responses, specially I came from a positive and polite way. India was the best part of the experience she was my technician that preformed the ultra sound. I can only give this place 3 stars due to her. She saved this place from getting 1. I am highly asthmatic and claustrophobic. We called to see if they had an open MRI, and we were told they did. They didn't. When I asked why it said the MRI was open, they said it was open at both ends (how absurd, of course it's open at both ends). It's been over 2 hours since we left, and I'm still having an asthma attack over it. I don't like being lied to. Never again. read more

All the bad reviews are correct and sadly all happened to me, they will set your appointment and then don't see you until an hour or more later. And when they did it to me they offered me a gift card after lying about why they were behind. Also they will steal your money. They owe me 275.00. My insurance company called them and told them I didn't owe the money and they are trying to keep it as a credit on my account. Please believe these negative reviews because it could be you one day. They are liars and thieves. I will be reporting this unethical behavior. read more

Everything except the actual technicians was TERRIBLE. The technicians were kind and courteous. My experience is with the front desk, scheduling and lack of time for your patients. The evening staff scheduled me so quickly, but did not verify benefits ahead of time of my appointment? Instead they asked me to pay all costs upfront and then deal with my insurance. That's hilarious... I'm curious as to why they didn't offer to NOT have me pay and just figure it out with my insurance group later? They are not open on the weekends but their door signage says they are... so I wasted 2 trips up there for nothing. On my actual appointment I was not taken back until 45 minutes after my appt. The young ladies in the evening were very unprofessional. Lacked customer service and you can tell do the most basic minimal effort to get a paycheck. On the actual appointment day after a reschedule , the young lady was kind and sweet but couldn't do much for me, as I was not taken back until 45 minutes later. Do not recommend. Go anywhere else. Worst place in Texas to come for imaging. This building is NOT ADA COMPLIANT. They must have some provision grandfathered in. You must climb stairs to get to the imaging center. There's a huge step climbing into the front door of the place. The seats they provide in the waiting area are about 12 inches off the ground - if you are mobility challenged, this is a horribly though out place to come. Their office staff and techs are amazing! HOWEVER, their billing is an absolute disaster! I saw them in April and May and just now got a bill for over $16,000.00. When I called I was told that my insurance hadn't paid and that the billing company had left me multiple messages. This was a total lie. I have not received one bill, message, phone call etc til I received an email from this shady wootpay.com from billflash. I am absolutely FUMING about this as the person in billing I spoke to had the fake smiley whatever you are lying voice. Keep in mind, I've been billing insurance for a living and collecting from patients for 30 years so not paying doctors or ignoring bills is an absolute no-no! Absolutely cannot recommend a business that uses a billing company that clearly doesn't know what they are doing. read more

Arrived at my appointment time at the Southlake office. Was told they called me and moved my appt back an hour and 45 minutes and told me to come back then. I did not receive a call. But apparently this is the norm, as the girl whipped out a huge stack of gift cards as a peace offering. Told me I could choose Chic Fil , Starbucks or Gas Card for the inconvenience. I don't want a gift card. I want my appointment to be on time, not almost 2 hours late. I have rescheduled with a more reputable company and now am trying to cancel my appt with Midtown. No one is answering and the mailbox is full. Terribly run business! Do not waste your time! read more

I went to go do an MRI. The first technician got annoyed that I was having trouble locking the locker that had my personal items. When I went into the room, the two technicians didn't explain anything to me or give me earplugs either. They just wanted to stick me into the machine right away. Since, I've done MRIs before at Envision Imaging, I knew what to expect, but they should still have taken their time to know if I was familiar with it or was claustrophobic. I also can't believe they wanted me to go into the machine without earplugs. I don't know if they forgot or if that's the practice there. I hate how when you try to contact someone about this on the "Contact Us" page, they don't answer. Midtown is cheaper, but I am not a fan of this place either. read more

I went to the Fort Worth location for MRI with contrast. I went into the small dressing room where the lockers and bench were to change. The technician doing the contrast after I changed told me to wait in the dressing room. He came back in the dressing room and told me to sit down on the bench. He said he was going to draw my blood there. He proceeded by laying all his viles, needle, gauze, etc on the dressing bench where everyone had been parking their asses all day. He then got on his knees on the floor and attempted to hit a vein with my arm practically perpendicular to the floor. I've had my blood drawn probably 60 times or more. When I saw how he was trying to hit the vein I told him no one ever tries to hit that vein and especially in that direction. Of course, he missed the vein and blew a bubble of saline in my arm. He pulled the needle out and was going to try again. I told him I have good, easy to hit, veins and he should have listened to me. I didn't give him a second chance. Doing this in the dressing room and the incompetence was enough for me to walk out and find a different location. read more

BEWARE I went to this facility for a abdomen ultrasound. My results came back as I have liver disease and possible cirrhosis. I was overwhelmed by this diagnosis, My GI Dr. sent me to another facility to have a fibro scan. That test showed a normal liver. My Dr wanted to to have another ultrasound at a different facility to confirm diagnosis. I went to Envision Imaging and the results showed no liver disease. Because of the incompetence of the tech and radiologist I had to pay $300 for 2 unnecessary tests, plus dealing with the stress of this wrong diagnosis. I am a senior on a fixed income and I could not afford these costs or having to deal with this diagnosis. This egregious mistake should never of happened. read more

Had a CT done here. The receptionist was very helpful and Bick did an awesome job with my CT with contrast.

I had an appointment at 1 at Midtown Imaging off of North Beach. I got there at 12:45 and there were 2 girls at the check in and they were helping one lady. I was complete ignored. After 5 or so minute's I sat down and continued to be ignored. I left after another 10 min. I will never go back there. There is a lot of competition in this business but I guess they don't care. Going to Gateway imaging now. I am a nurse and will not refer to Midtown and I will tell all of our docs what a bad experience I had there also. read more

Had an MRI here the other day. The front desk associates, Chelsea and Michelle, were able to schedule me quickly and checked me in without any trouble. The MRI tech, Sarah, was incredibly helpful and patient as I worked through my claustrophobia. Overall, outstanding and professional care from everyone. read more

I give this facility 2 stars ONLY because it was clean. The front desk personnel lack communication skills. When they called to set my daughters appointment for an MRI they didn't even state what facility they were calling from. I had to call back and ask. Upon arrival for a 6pm appointment my daughter sat and waited..and waited...and waited. Over 1 hour passed and she asked the desk clerk what was up. She just told my daughter she was next. No information or reason for this extended wait. 1 hour and 10 minutes later being told he had an adult patient who would not be still for imaging. BS or fact? Regardless my daughter should have been informed of the delay. I get it some patients need to be medicated for imaging. The staff here should have realized that and made that guy reschedule. Absolutely unbelievable! Hmmm Maybe I should go down to 1 measly star! read more

This place is horrific. From start to finish I had a poor experience, with the exception of my imaging tech who was incredibly kind. No one is competent at the front desk. I called many many times to get an appt and was always told they would call me back. They never did. They also promised my STAT CT would be sent within 1-2 hours. I called 4, 6, 8 hours post CT and each time they told me it hadn't even been looked at. As an imaging center you should recognize that a CT of a chest that is ordered STAT is an urgent matter. I am now in the ER due to the issues that led me to get a CT. Get your office together. This is poor poor service. I'd rather drive hours to go somewhere else than come back here ever again. read more

I would not recommend coming here if you want a kind and understanding staff!! Asked me to sign a BLANK document- said it was in case they need to file an appeal, when I asked if it could be filled out she snapped back that it's all the same information from a previous page. When I told her I was not comfortable with signing a blank document she said well then sign decline and I'll ask my insurance department if we can see you. She NEVER looked at me when talking, was rude when asked for explanation. For someone greeting patients and being the first person they come in contact with you'd think she could be more helpful. This on top of the appointment being over an hour late! If you don't need an MRI immediately- go elsewhere!! read more

My doctor said to get an MRI here so went. The office told us to come right or at 2:30, we cam right away. So 2 hour of waiting they told us 1 more person, so another 45 minutes passed and 5 other people went in while we haven't. So we waited another fifteen minutes and 5 people came out with 1 coming in. We could finally come in and the MRI was pretty good they even played music. That is why I gave it 2 stars. read more

Came this morning to bring my mom for a study the office suite is facing the parking lot so you have to turn into the lot to see the front door. My mom was a little nervous but was quickly greeted and the staff made her feel super welcomed and taken care of. English being her second language, she speaks and understands it but feels a lot more comfortable speaking Spanish and the staff helped answer all her questions regarding her intake forms. Her tech was really nice as well! It's hard to find smiling faces in the medical industry due to how busy they are. We expected a very long wait due to other reviews but she was seen very close to her appointment time, I'm sure it just has to do with what time of day you come in. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for another option for diagnostic imaging instead of going to the hospital. They have multiple locations, accept insurance of course but they also have great options for self pay visits. Thanks for taking care of my mom! Will be back and will spread the word. read more

Last night my wife got a MRI of her brain at Midtown Medical Imaging. She has a serious neurological condition that requires assistance walking. From the receptionist, to the lady that did the MRI, to the nurse that talked to us after the MRI, we were extremely pleased with our experience. They had our CD ready for us to give to my wife's doctor in about 5 minutes. Follow up MRI's will be required for my wife's condition.
