My favorite had its own corsette complete with silk ribbons. Then the wallet counter, oh my. The Ouija wallet was adorable, if it could just tell when to buy what. Beside women's accessories there are so many T shirts and sweatshirts to choose from. Starting for the baby onesies to the adult. Unique jewelry pieces. Delicious candles. And other great souvenirs. Allow yourself some time to get lost and enjoy the store. On C Street, so a few street parking spots. Don't worry about that because when you are in VC you wander the entire town anyway.

I grabbed a variety including pickle and jalapeño. I did visit the sugar free room, but mixed my SF with my regular ones. Oh well, I enjoyed all the unique flavors I threw in the bag. My kids picked up some plane kits. I picked up a few signs and will be back next time we're here. The three employees that were inside while we shopped were at the counter weren't all that friendly, but I wasn't there to socialize. We were in and out within 10 minutes or so.

Over the weekend, I parked on C Street (which I normally never do because the owner complained last time I parked there, even though it is public parking) however my mom is a tourist and purchased stuff them this shop. I run a veterans owned and operated gun shop in Carson City and we gave the owner a flier for a Veterans discounted CCW class last week, in which they hung it up for us. But since I decided to park in C Street because my mom is a visitor, and disabled, they decided to rip down our flier and throw it in the trash. Really, I've spent money here! I bought my mom a purse, I have bought hats, watched, belt buckles, etc. But because I parked (not even in front of there shop, it is in front of the old CLOSED down Mark Twain Museum) now I get treated this way? Fine, no more business from me! Every time I am in VC, I spend money almost everywhere I go, you know, supporting local businesses and stuff. Who are you to say where people can park on a PUBLIC highway? Btw, my mom spent about $50 here this weekend.

She was a sweet, cute, hard working business woman but friendly and accommodating at the same time. My understanding is they've been here a couple years after taking over from another. What's nice is they can customize things like hats and shirts, etc. Hard to walk out empty handed. I have two new shirts, a hat and four R&R stickers for the guitar case. When I saw the sign saying "Silver Stope" I wondered if the sign painter had made a mistake. Well,…read morethey didn't make a booboo. A stope is actually an excavation in a  working mine or quarry in form of a step. It was just my mind trying to make sense of the sign. I kept changing it to "Silver Store". Silver Stope is a shop that carries Indian and silver jewelery; copper and beaded jewelry; and leather goods. If you are a biker or have a friend that rides a motorcycle, you might be really interested in this shop--especially if you are in the market for some stylish black leather gear. They have leather vests, jackets, and chaps--mostly in black--maybe only black. Also, if you are a biker, it would be a really fun ride on a motorcycle to get up to Virginia City--then you could drop in to the Silver Stope, and see if there is something that suits you.
