Here's a firm version that gets your point across: (1 Star) I had an extremely disappointing experience with ADHD Institute of Michigan and will not be returning. I initially came here and was prescribed a non-stimulant medication that did not work for me. I returned for a follow-up appointment on Monday and was prescribed Adderall 10mg. The provider was fully aware of all of my current medications and medical history, including the fact that I recently underwent major wrist surgery and was prescribed pain medication by my surgeon. After several days of waiting, my pharmacy informed me there was an issue holding up my prescription. When I called the office on Thursday to find out what was going on, I was suddenly told there were "inconsistencies" with my drug screen and that they would not prescribe the medication. What makes this frustrating is that nothing about my prescribed medications was hidden. Every medication I take is legally prescribed and was known to the provider at the time of my appointment. If there was a concern, it should have been addressed during the visit instead of days later after I had already been prescribed medication and left waiting for answers. The communication was poor, the process felt disorganized, and I was left feeling like I was being given different explanations rather than a clear answer. As a patient, I expected transparency and consistency, especially after paying for appointments and following their instructions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice

    Came in on Monday the 9th for my appointment and got diagnosed with adhd, was given a prescription…read morethat wasnt covered by my insurance. That's not the issue, I understand it's my job to check and know what medications are covered. However when I called back to see what my options were, I was told I would get a call back. Multiple days have passed and I can't even get my calls to go through and no one has responded to me. Even worse, the doctor lissete Cruze said I would get a phone call today to check on how I'm doing with the new medication, and I just never got a call? Very very dissapointed with this place. I could have taken that weeks dose of medication you gave me and I would've been out of luck today bc I just didn't get a check up.
