I ordered a Halloween bouquet to be delivered to my wife on 10/29. Her business closes as 2 pm, so I paid for the early delivery option ($15 extra to have it done and delivered before 1 pm). They were not delivered by 1, so they refunded the $15 but I told them they had to be there by 2 so they messaged the local shop. They did not arrive by 2. Poor service in the end. As the only teleflora shop in Staunton they leave a lot to desire. read more

First time Rask customer, but they delivered big time! My wife and I were renewing our wedding vows and were just doing a very informal service, just the pastor and us. Then, at the last minute, we decided it would be nice to dress up for the occasion. Then the thought hit me that surprising my wife with a wedding bouquet would be cool, but our service was at 10:00 and Rask only opened at 9:00. I called at 8:45, someone answered, and I explained my situation. She said no problem, they'd have the bouquet - plus a boutonniere I decided to get - ready by 9:45. I got there at 9:45 sharp and everything was ready! Definitely deserve an A++ on customer service!! read more

Had called a week in advance of valentine's day and ordered flowers to be delivered on Monday the 13th. The flowers never showed up. Called from opening to lunch time the following day with a constant busy signal. Walked in personally and stood at counter for several minutes before I was acknowledged. No one could find the flowers and they had to call someone else to ask if they remembered delivering them. They finally found them in the cooler and claimed to have attempted to deliver them. When I asked for some money back on the flowers for the non delivery I was offered a small potted plant instead that was only worth a few dollars. I will be looking for a new florist for any future orders. read more

I LOVE their flowers, they are always fresh and long-lasting. This is my preferred place to buy flowers for special occasions. However, I recently bought flowers and had them delivered for the first time (I normally just grab and go) and was very disappointed. I am a college student, and made almost an investment of $35 for some sunflowers and carnations to be surprise delivered for my boyfriend as a 9 month anniversary gift. Upon buying them, everything was very professional and they took my phone number and told me they'd call if anything went wrong. In short, they didn't. They tried ONCE to deliver on the day I needed, left a note on the door telling my boyfriend to call them and PICK UP HIS OWN FLOWERS, way to ruin the surprise guys. Even MORE disappointing, he did call them and no one answered OR called back. :( I went in and picked them up by hand personally, and felt like I was being blamed for them not being delivered on time. So I simply took my beautiful flowers and left.. Beautiful flowers.... terrible delivery service, I will not be buying flowers for delivery here again... read more

I ordered a Deluxe bouquet, and only got a standard, so I got screwed there. And if that wasn't bad enough, they called my wife at home to confirm the address...AND SAID IT WAS A FLORIST! Absolute morons, and even the standard bouquet that arrived looked ragged. I cannot describe my rage..they have ruined my Valentines Day. Never will use again, and will tell everyone I know they stink. read more

Ordered thru Teleflora, paid for the premium bouquet. Bouquet was ordered well in advance, needed for my husband's funeral service. Supposed to have 8 full sized roses, miniature roses, misc other filler flowers, dried flowers, misc decorative greenery in a designer vase, a full one sided bouquet . When it came, it had 7 full roses, some small lilies, cramped with standard greenery, cheap plain vase, with no fullness, all upward display, looked horrible and nothing even close to what was ordered. Called Rask, spoke with Lynn, told about problems with it. She said she could come get it, redo it, but said made as told by Teleflora and that's what she did, she didn't have the mini roses, decorative greenery, dried flowers, let alone the decorative vase, basically nothing other than what she sent. Then said even if she did redo it, it wouldn't be as shown. After being told that was unacceptable, she said the driver would come get it and hung up on us. Called Teleflora, they gave us a full refund, also told them how we were treated. I will never use Rask nor recommend them, terrible service, terrible arrangement. read more

I have received two arrangements of flowers from Rask in the last two weeks. One was from a friend, and one was from my husband for our anniversary. The flowers were not fresh and some even had brown places on them. The lilies in the anniversary arrangement looked like someone had mashed them. The freshest thing in that arrangements was the greenery. Both arrangements lasted less than a week. The white roses turned brown in four days. So disappointing. I thought maybe the first arrangement was a fluke, but when I got the second one I was really disappointed. Would not use them again. read more

My husband and I were amazed with the customer service from Rask Florist. I had intended to order funeral flowers on a Thursday for a Saturday morning service in Verona. However, due to some personal issues, I completely forgot about placing the order until Friday night. Frantically, I searched various florists in the Staunton area and discovered that Rask Florist provided an emergency number for funerals. I left a message as instructed by the answering machine. Less than 30 minutes later, Louanne called and asked how she could help. A recent snow storm had kept the flower truck from arriving that day, so Lou Ann suggested a dish garden or peace lily. When I asked if there was any chance she had some purple flowers to add to the arrangement, she said she did and would also add a purple bow. She assured me that the dish garden would be delivered around 9:30 a.m. in plenty of time for the 11:00 a.m. service. I told her she was blessing and was so happy Rask Florist offered the emergency number. Saturday night I skyped with the family for whom we sent the dish garden. They told me the plants were beautiful and I was in total agreement when I saw them. If I ever need to send flowers in the Staunton area again I will definitely be calling your florist. read more

These folks are awesome. Sent some flowers to my sweetheart. She, of course, is in Virginia. Staunton, at a (I found out) hard to find address. I am in Seattle, WA. Rask Florist called me 3 times trying to confirm address, etc. Most would have given up, but she persisted and found my sweetie. Ordered a small bouquet in honor of an event for one of my grandchildren. The order was placed by phone a week in advance and there is no question that Rask understood my wishes because I saw the originally order when I picked up my bouquet and it accurately described the bouquet that I ordered. The bouquet that I received did not meet the requirements of this order and when I insisted that Rask complete the order as agreed the week before, the Rask employee told me that there would be an extra cost to provide a bouquet meeting the previously agreed upon requirements. Rask quoted a price by phone for a product that they and I had completely understood a week before and now at delivery time was raising the price for that order. read more
