I've been here a handful of times and helped by the same woman who always goes above and beyond for me. You can tell she genuinely enjoys assisting people with all of their postal needs. It's nice to have someone that can readily explain rate changes and policies and that can eyeball a package and know exactly what all of your pricing options are. I no longer dread shipment days!

It was even explained that it was crystal and the clerk had stamped "Fragile" all over the box! Well, the box arrived crushed and contents were broken. So, after many calls and filing complaints the end result was the the clerk had sent it STANDARD POST without ANY insurance. The POST Master was very uncooperative and basically said I was SOL!

I'm not sure if they accept walk ins. They might but your wait will be long. Waited about 5-10 minutes before being called. I had to present my ID and marriage certificate. Lady processed it and informed me I'll receive my new documents in the mail within two weeks. Fast and easy process.

I brought the documents I was told to bring the previous visit, but this lady clerk didn't want to look over them. She lamented to her colleage about the SSA recognizing medical history documents as forms of ID, when she believes they shouldn't. I'm the shy sort so I didn't interrupt her during the remainder of our interaction which she made needlessly hostile.

I found it by mistake some years ago and now I make it my stop for everything that I need to mail of importance. It is out of my way, but it is worth the trip and here's why. There are two amazing people that work there most of the time . One is the Post Master, who is a lovely lady. She is very charming and helpful in all instances and extremely friendly, and the other is a man named Derek. He also has wonderful qualities which just make you feel secure and know that your packages will get to their destination. I have brought both of them multiple packages quite often to go out of the country , and now with the new EU rules it's quite a tedious process to fill out the correct forms and do the things to be certain that everything goes smoothly. The nicest thing is that if something does not go well they are on it immediately and I have found that unfortunately that is quite different than many other Post Office's . Several days ago I mailed a package to Germany and it is very important that it get there. I asked questions about a different way to send it by priority mail , and Derek had all of the answers. Even when I'm sure the questions are annoying both of these people make their customers feel special, and as if they are very important. In this day and age it's quite difficult to find that type of service anywhere. Thank you Derek for your professionalism and your kindness and your knowledge . It's really too bad that the post office can't clone you.

We just moved here and wanted to register to vote for the upcoming elections on November 8. After…read morewe sent the new voter application and registration via mail we received two letters back requesting additional information. Since we didn't have Maryland licenses we needed to submit either a copy of our passport or an article of official mail like an electric bill that had our current Maryland address in order to complete the registration. Instead of sending another round of letters we decided to walk down to the Board of elections office to hopefully resolve it quickly. After showing our IDs to the front desk we were shown to the office on the first floor. There's a bell to ring upon entering the office and someone came out to greet us promptly. The clerk was very friendly and helpful and after collecting our additional information and photocopying it, gave us our voter registration cards. She gave us additional information for early voting and a phone number to call in case we had any questions. Overall it was a great visit and was a lot easier to come down to the office then to do things through mail.
