Lucerne Town Hall aka Luzern Rathaus is an iconic building in Luzern. It was built in the 1600s. This Italian-style building served as an economic and administrative place where the locals used to do town halls, hide grains, sell stuff, etc.
There's literally nobody here except for locals who work in the area and the brewery under the Rathaus. The brewery sells unfiltered beer but I'm not a huge drinker so, I skipped that part, took pictures and moved on.
This building sits I between Zytturn/ Mussegmauer and Chapel Bridge/ Jesuit Church/ Lucerne Needle Dam so, if you're just taking a leisurely stroll of Luzern, don't forget to stop by this place to take quick pictures. And maybe, have a beer or two.
