I'd never heard of it either, until a very good friend of mine was singing their praises for greatly reducing her migraines, and I Googled it. They take the time and are trained / experienced in doing a more thorough assessment to enable them to better determine route causes leading to more effective treatment. They look at the body as a whole, connected "machine" and understand how parts of the body which are suffering are affected by other, seemingly unrelated parts of the body. Long blurb... Short story: they do great stuff! I had pain and discomfort for over 4 years. Deep tissue massage, physios and plain old "ignoring it, it'll go away" didn't work. I can honestly say this after having tried a few of the others in the Mitcham area, some with success and others not so much. Kelly and her team are pros and go way above and beyond. They take the time to help you discover what the long-term cause of your pain is, instead of just treating the symptoms. The team are incredibly patient and make sure to answer any questions and address any fears or concerns you might have about Chiro in a completely open and non-judgmental way. Nick (my Chiro) even scheduled extra time for me to come in so he could explain in detail how massage therapy, yoga and changes to my diet would help me. He has been my stable go-to Chiropractor for years now, ever since I moved to Melbourne (seriously, I'm happy to pay out-of-pocket each visit to maintain the health of my back and neck) and I've been a regular Chiropractor patient in my previous city. But after a few appointments in this specific Chiropractor clinic, my instinct told me this is where I should keep coming back -- the free parking, fabulous and "soon-to-be famous" Chiropractor Phil, easy-to-talk to about any topic under the sun (both health and non-health topics of your choice haha), and cheerful Receptionists make each and every Chiropractic session, dare I say......easy ;) (LOL!). Last evening's appointment had a hilarious and special moment, because Phil is easily one of the most funny, caring, helpful, and non-judgmental instructors I've ever had, who along with receptionist Suzie, had the pleasure of witnessing me get lost immediately after my entrance. I had forgotten where the toilet was, woops, my bad. Coming back to Bodyline Health after taking several weeks after my painful toe surgery certainly wasn't easy (nor smooth... I think I'm still bright red from embarassment!) but Phil instantly reminded me of everything I love about this clinic - helping me and having fun with me, not "at me". Feels like my long-lost second family, and I'll be coming back here again and again!
