I think this being your go-to store for kid's apparel will depend on your personal taste of how you like to dress your kids. I like cute modern kid's clothes. Sometimes they have what I like but most times they don't. They are good for older style modern clothes. Meaning if you like the back in the day look with a modern twist this store is for you. If you like the dresses with the embroidered initials or names on the front or the dresses that look like they go on Porcelain dolls, this will be your store. We mostly come here for my kid's shoes and bows. They have a shoe room and a huge bow wall. They have tons of bow colors to pick from. I usually go when the owner works and she is always very sweet. This last time I went when a sales associate was working and she to was very nice. I've never had any problem with the people working. They've always been very kind and helpful if I have questions. Overall, I like Purple Peanut for certain kid's accessories.

Over the last week my child was struggling with bedtime and I went in as a last resort to try and find a particular item. Upon entering, no one greeted me. The young girl who finally appeared was rude and abrasive. She was not friendly. When I asked for said item, she became snarky. She pointed them out and then disappeared. When I went to the counter to purchase the expensive item, I was met with even more rudeness. Another young girl appeared behind the counter and never spoke. The previous girl was on my side of the counter stocking and made no effort to move aside so I could pay. She said something under her breathe and they both giggled. The girl checking me out never said a word other than my total. The whole transaction was so icy, that I almost put my purchase back and left. Once the transaction was complete she handed me my bag, again without any time of goodbye as I walked out. I will NEVER go back to spend those amounts of money and be treated that way.
