My primary doctor referred me to this doctor last June as I had pain in my fingers. She said she is…read moregreat therefore backed up but the PA is excellent and will assist me quickly. Well that was last June 2022 and it is now April 2023 and still no accurate diagnosis yet. The PA when I saw her in July felt it was carpal tunnel told me to wear a brace at night. I tried for several months and no relief so I go back in January 2023 and actually see a Doctor for the first time. She sends me for tests but doesn't really tell me what to prepare for so I come back one test is a nerve test it is similar to you putting your wet hands in an electrical socket and getting shocked. After you see another technician that sticks you with needles that is hooked up to a machine and you bleed. At this point he says to me why do people wear white to this test? That's because the doctor never tells you. Ok this genius tells me it's a pinched nerve and that I need surgery. However I have to come back to have another PA tell me that's not true go for an MRI. After the MRI I come back see that same PA who tells me didn't you go for an ultrasound too? What our office staff didn't call you? So they leave me at the counter where the useless office staff first tells me to call all over town and find out who does Ultrasounds for wrists? My frustration at that point I walked out. Note at each and every appointment I am charged for a visit to a doctor that I never see but once. After I tell them to F off miraculously the next day someone calls me with an appointment for an ultrasound. That test was also inconclusive and guess what never hear from the doctor again but I do get another bill in the mail. Note in total five visits saw doctor once out of five visits and I paid for each visit at check in each and every time. Perhaps I just Google my symptoms and solve my own health problems myself. Healthcare in America is at an all time low.! Guess what next month back to my primary doctor to try again. What does not kill us makes us stronger. In this case can't sleep because of the pain so I Yelp at 4 AM.

The food is not the best but her attending Dr is caring and actually listens. At the time of her admission at 6pm there was no valet parking, but there is a parking garage within walking distance.

I handed over my ID and Kaiser card and gave my information and they were able to easily bill my insurance so I didn't have to handle it after the fact. After some wait my vitals were checked, then I was sent back to the lobby and after a bit more of a wait, I was moved into a shared room. In total my visit was about three hours and I was able to speak to the doctor who ordered my medication to the closest pharmacy and had a first dose ready for me prior to my leaving. When I let them know I hadn't eaten recently they also provided a sandwich and crackers to take with the medication. I was texted semi-regularly with the name of my nurse, my doctor, my room, and when I was discharged - all things Kaiser doesn't do that I appreciated. My visit fee was the same as it is with Kaiser and because they supplied the first dose I was able to head home and go to sleep, picking up my medication the next day. All in all, I appreciated how Mount Sinai made the experience smooth for me and it's nice knowing I have an ER I can go to when I'm in the area.
