Alright. Phhooooooo....okay…read more I'm a stuck-up, super-spoiled, vegetarian-mega-brat. Why? I come from Los Angeles where if you want a macrobiotic, vegan, raw, super-green slice of ANYTHING, we've got it. It's pretty much amazeballs. Really. We do it up in California without any pretentious vibes at all. We're just super stoked to be healthy and that's that. Oh, we also like options. So, when I heard about Unlimited Health yesterday from my holistic masseuse (Massage Marin - I've reviewed her, she's ridiculously great), I was so pumped. Their website looks stellar - they have a cafe+juice bar+restaurant. Yoga and detox center, too, but I'm not a stretchy kind of gal. So, I grabbed a friend this morning, hopped on our bikes and rode over there, so elated for the insta-health we'd find here. The setting is bland. No music. Feels like a cold cafeteria in a hospital. Granted, it was only around 11:30am, so maybe the older women working there just don't know ambiance is a 24-7 kinda thing? Not sure. Anyway... The grocery store. It has a small, but neat assortment of raw snacks. An okay assortment of supplements. Water bottles. Green powders. Skin care. Okay, good. So, there's stuff I can buy to feel awesome. Oh, but wait. 10euros for 300 grams of a raw cereal? You're, like, kidding right? Right? 40euros for a small green powder. Um, you are SO funny, store! What a crackup. Right? Right? Bottom line: the concept is ok. However, you're getting ripped off. The same products in the US go for half the price. Maybe more. It's nice to have a small grocer with even more upscale raw/vegan, etc. products...but come on. Is the wallet-raping necessary? I left with some kale chips and a shot of wheatgrass. I'll go back. For Liquid Aminos. After my paycheck. ;)

Yeah the reviews don't lie about this chain. Great place and product! This location is very…read morenice...they must have a huge budget for rent! The other place is near the Ann Frank House (across the canal). We went here almost daily for their Ginger shots. It will help you with a hangover! It really helps make you feel better. Word of advice if you have Invisalign clear aligner braces, don't drink these shots (especially the turmeric shots) if you have clear aligners on! I forgot I had them on and it stained them yellow...permanently. It was terrible. But the drinks are delicious. Made right on site. If you have any questions they staff is very helpful.

This place is heaven! I stopped by THREE times on my short trip because it was so good. 100%…read moreorganic, vegan, non-GMO, raw. There's a wall of fruit towards the back where the staff pull fresh for the juicing! Yes, the place is small. You can take it to go on your walk into the city! Dragonbowl açaí - fruity, crunchy, sweet, healthy, natural. I cannot believe this is breakfast -- it tastes like dessert. The clerk was kind and patiently looked up the calories for every bowl they had before i made my decision. 530 for this one, in case you were wondering. Reset juice - low calorie, tart AND sweet. Super healthy and no added agave. My body felt better drinking it and I was prepared with healthy energy for the long day of walking. (110 calories) Energy balls - the coconut ball was good. Nothing to write home about, but I think it's because the whole thing is made of something like 3-4 ingredients. It's healthy, so it wasn't to-die for delicious, but it did the job in giving me nutrition and energy. It was delicious, ok, but not like a dessert ;) (190 cals) Matcha ball - haven't had this one yet. Excited for it. (210 cals) "Lasagna" - OMG AMAZING. I wasn't expecting much, but it was incredibly delicious. Only made of less than 6 ingredients: zucchini, carrots, tomato sauce, cashew cheese... they heated it up and it was so "cheesy" and delicious (160 calories!! I couldn't believe it!)
