Ray, a travel insurance broker, has assisted me on several recent occasions with health insurance both in Canada and in the United States. I haven't had occasion to use any of the coverage I've purchased through him, so I can't speak to the quality of the policies.
However, his customer service has so far been excellent. He seems knowledgeable about the products he sells, pleasant, and responds quickly over the phone and email. He's also set up to send you policy documents in .PDF format, which is convenient. I was abroad a few of the times I needed policies put in place or extended, and everything went very smoothly. He seems to work quite late many days!
The only area for improvement is his website, which is cluttered and kind of hard on the eyes. I didn't find it answered any of my questions, but, as mentioned, Ray's great to talk to and quite helpful, so I recommend just calling or emailing him directly. read more
