I dealt with this horrible company in spring of 2022 as another Cleveland-area concrete contractor contracted operator/owner Mike Postiy. Horrible experience as he threatened to take me to court before money exchanged hands if I did not go through with the job. He completed the job in my backyard (excavation and rocks), but it was not the best work and some of the underparts (some white pipe-looking thing) have been visible for the last two years along with his promising to come back to seal my driveway if I left him a positive BBB review. By the way, the business has an F rating. He also likes to change the name of the business (it was Mike's Lawn Care when I dealt with him...aka Postiy's Landscaping prior). He is a charlatan and will blow your phone up for his money, but will be slow to answer your questions. Check out the names I gave you in the BBB and you will see why. He also will not respond to BBB complaints. I wanted to take him to small claims, but I figured it would be a headache trying to hunt the dude down. I will let karma handle that one :) Take my advice, along with Amg and other BBB complainants and find a real contractor.

I recently had some trimming work done on a few oak trees. There was no access for a lift so they…read moreneeded to climb the trees. I had an Haymaker estimator come out and he gave me a two to six hour range. When I asked why such a wide range he stated, "Well sometimes it takes an hour to throw the rope in the tree and the guys will sometimes forget tools at the shop and they have to leave and get them. This bothered me and questioned using them. The Haymaker office called and asked if I was going to use them and I brought up what the estimator told me. She said that the crews are professional and efficient so I decided to go with them. That was a costly mistake. Keep in mind the shop is less than a mile from my house. They showed up about a half an hour before sunrise and sat in the trucks for the sun to rise. They had two climbers and two ground men. The one climber started but the second one was fooling around hanging upside down on the rope and took an hour to start the job. The first climber finished his work and the second climber and groundsman started working. Meanwhile the first climber and groundsman was just standing around. It looked like the staged the work to take much more hours to finish. They actually slowed down everything to take three hours. I told my wife I bet the want to charge for three hours even though it was easily done in two hours. And to my surprise when I got the bill it was three and a half hour. I called the office to complain and they said they charge for travel time. I told they I lived less than a mile away from the shop. They shaved off the half an hour but I feel I was charged an extra hour do to purposely staging the work between two independent crews and they standing around until the clock showed three hours. Just be careful of small jobs with an unspecified duration. They run up the clock on purpose. They also snapped off one of my yard lights as they removed the branches to the chip. The team lead just stuck it in the ground when he saw it bit it actually snapped from it's anchor. I saw him push it into the ground.

And driving through Lowelville, and Giant Eagle in Poland, did a Google, and saw Kushner's was very close to our location. Went there, it was after 4pm on a weekday. Was suprised they were even open. Got GREAT personal service, the flowers we got had just been trimmed out. The garden spade and other tools I bought were great quality and very inexpensive. I will be back to buy more plants, and garden type stuff. They have solar lights, trelisses, fountains and pond care accessories. I very strongly reccomend anyone shop here for any gardening needs. And they have more than just plants. Landscaping material, stones bricks statues patio furniture etc. and prices on most items that beat walmart easily. Add in the quality of what they sell, and the honest interest the staff shows for the customer, and you have a place that is exactly what I want when doing something as important as buying plants and landscaping materials for the house, or for your apartment patio or deck. All price ranges for every pocketbook or need.
