They do require an appointment for an estimate and I missed that appointment due to issues that came up at work. When I arrived the following day my adjuster looked perplexed and kept explaining that I missed my appointment and that he couldn't do my estimate. He asked if I called them regarding the missed appointment and I had not because I had already been told that they just needed pictures and would email the estimate the following business day. Aside from a rough start I am pleased with this shop.

The absolute apathy and disregard I have faced from Modern Body Shop has left me embarrassed and ashamed for ever taking my car here in the first place. I have received one (1) phone call from them since giving them a $5000 down payment. At this point I feel robbed. If i never called them, I would quite literally never hear from them. each time I call for a status update, I am told the same story about some delay that's 'out of their control'. Even as I plead that I cannot afford a rental car much longer, they hold not an ounce of empathy. They have no shame for the struggle they have inflicted and still are yet to have an actual time frame for when the car will be completed. Never in my life have I ever felt so disrespected and degraded as a customer of a business. I feel scammed, cheated, and throw aside. My situation cannot get much worse, but I hope that my story can save others. Please, whatever you do, keep your car as far from Modern Body Shop as possible.

I nor my husband called parkway towing/wrecker service after an accident November 2024. I have AAA…read moreand contacted them before going to the accident scene. I informed the driver from parkway and he not only refused to stop and allow the people I called to handle my vehicle but also refused to take my vehicle where I wanted it to go. We live less than half a mile from the accident location and requested the vehicle be taken to our house. There was a pistol in the car that we made prior arrangements with parkway to place in their safe upon arrival of the vehicle until we could secure transportation to retrieve it. I had the pistol with me on my walk to the accident scene and placed it in the glovebox as we had made plans to go to the hospital where it would not have been allowed. The driver with parkway was informed. The car was/is involved in a federal investigation due to possible non deployment of the air bags and recalls concerning such. I was told at the time the car would be safe and to take as long as needed to complete the investigation by an authorized representative from parkway. The car was placed in an "out of the way" area for that specific reason. My husband went by parkway and Mr grubbs informed him he wasn't allowed on the property after Mr grubbs threatened to crush the car before the investigation had taken place. He also quoted a ridiculously inflated storage fee after we had been assured of the cars safe keeping. Needless to say my husband and I weren't happy. Mr grubbs has made no attempt to contact me although he had my mailing address ( as indicated by the simple fact papers were served to my address) and I had notified him of my phone number. We attempted to contact Mr grubbs on numerous occasions however I never received a response. I have call logs with proof of attempts to speak with Mr grubbs and/or an authorized representative from parkway. Even the insurance company had difficulty reaching Mr grubbs. From November 2024 to today's date of April 14, 2026 we have received one (1) return call from Mr grubbs. Parkway is now suing me even though the department of justice has still not completed their investigation.

They were timely; I only had to wait about 45 minutes on a Sunday night, and they came when they were estimated to. We talked about the car and he tried to jump it (I was pretty sure that wouldn't work but you never know). After hitching a ride with my fiance, I started looking for mechanics and towing services. I found Kernersville Towing & Sons and gave them a call. I explained that I was planning on having the car serviced at Crossroads Ford in Kernersville. They then explained that they do all of Crossroads Ford's towing and, because of this, could get me towed to the mechanic for just $55. I felt like this was a great rate, so I accepted it. They said they could come by the next morning and pick up the car. I explained that, unfortunately, I would have to be at work around 7 AM. They then told me I could simply leave the key in a hidden place and they would be able to pick up the car without me being there. But, I don't trust people, so I said I'd prefer to not leave my key outside, albeit in a hidden location. Kernersville Towing was more than accommodating and suggested that I just go ahead and take the key to Crossroads Ford, leave it in their dropbox, and, provided I left the car in park with the emergency brake released, they would be able to pick up the car without my assistance in the morning. I agreed to this and, around 8:30 AM, I received a call stating that they had picked up my car and were on the way to the mechanic. It was a nice surprise to receive such an update. In addition, their relationship with Crossroads Ford allowed me to consolidate everything into one bill. It was quite convenient! In short, this is an extremely considerate company and they kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I will definitely give them my business in the future. Thank you!

What an unpleasant experience that turned into a jaw-dropping awestrikingly amazing experience…read more I took my son's vehicle to get a new battery after getting a jump. After several hours of waiting for a battery, the end result was that the car would no longer start AT ALL *eye roll*...that's another story. Since the car no longer started, I had no other choice than to call for a tow. All-Over Towing is who came to the rescue. Our towing expert was Bryan S. Bryan was kind, courteous and super skillful. We first started with another attempt at jumping my son's car. Dishearteningly, it did not work. There were several challenges with this tow and Bryan took on each one with jaw-dropping expertise. I watched Bryan in total amazement while he rolled the car up on the tow truck bed. He put "skates" on the wheels so they wouldn't drag too much while pulling the vehicle up. The vehicle is front wheel drive. Who knew there was such a thing? When we arrived at the destination, I watched Bryan again in total amazement while he unloaded the vehicle, (although not without more challenges), with such precision and carefulness. I tell you, you just had to see it to believe it!!!! Bryan is beyond words amazing and I am thankful for his help in our time of need. Bryan, if you should ever see this, I don't have enough words to say thank you for the care and concern you gave. You went over and beyond which to me was superior service.
