She already got a new car from the insurance company then claimed to want thousands for lost wages, which was silly and easily proven false (had we gone to trial). My insurance retained a much better law firm and it was settled for MUCH less AND he took 50% PLUS attorney's fees according to the court papers, leaving his client with next to noting! He also dragged the case out for nearly two years before settling and would likely have been awarded $0 by a jury. His dragging it out didn''t bother me, but his client definitely came up short in this case! Beware...you get what you pay for....or don't pay for!

My experience with this office was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about their…read moreunderstanding of Social Security disability law and real‑world disability cases. The attorney repeatedly gave us information that directly contradicts SSA rules and Blue Book listings. She insisted my husband would be denied because he "tried to work and failed," even though SSA classifies these as Unsuccessful Work Attempts that actually support a disability claim. She claimed he needed a "30‑day gap" between jobs, a rule that does not exist. She dismissed the severity of his spinal condition despite SSA Listings 1.15 and 1.16 clearly outlining how spinal instability, nerve compression, and the year‑long recovery from spinal fusion prevent sustained work. She told us he needed to take narcotics or medications he is allergic to, which is medically unsafe and not required by SSA. She minimized his essential tremors because they are managed by a primary care doctor, ignoring the fact that Oklahoma has year‑long neurology waitlists and SSA does not penalize claimants for lack of specialist access. She also claimed his COPD "looks bad" because he isn't medicated, despite SSA Listing 3.02 evaluating functional limitations, not medication status. She dismissed his arthritis and blood disorder entirely, even though SSA evaluates combined impairments and my husband is a chef who faces real safety risks if his tremors break through medication. Finally, she insisted we had to "prove he can't do any job," which is simply untrue; SSA evaluates whether a claimant can return to their past relevant work or perform other work within their functional limitations. When I was approved for SSDI, SSA reviewed my last three jobs in my field and determined I could not return to them. Overall, this attorney relied on oversimplified textbook talking points instead of real‑life experience with disability cases, and demonstrated a troubling lack of knowledge about SSA policy, disability law, and the medical issues involved. We left feeling dismissed, discouraged, and misinformed, and I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking competent disability representation.
