Very poor communication. I had some 10 year old warrants out of Tulsa city for FTA on a DUS, no…read moreinsurance and improper tag. Wirth had good Google reviews so I called wanting to hire them to help me get this taken care of. In the initial call I was quoted and paid a $1250 flat fee for representation on all 3 charges. I was told Carl Birkhead would represent me and soon be in contact. That afternoon I was emailed the paperwork to sign and a link to the "client portal" where they post the events of my case and a secure messaging tab between us. After a week of radio silence I messaged them on the portal asking for an update. It was never responded to. 10 days after my initial call and payment "Vicky" calls me telling me that they got me on the docket next week. I gave them permission to speak on my behalf, I work nights, a court appearance would be like going to court at midnight for regular day shift people, and was told they would let me know the outcome. This was the last communication I had from them. The week after my court date I check the Tulsa website and see that my warrants are gone. Great! I call Wirth to ask what the outcome is and am told that in their system my case is "closed" and I'm no longer their client. I asked the receptionist do I owe the court anything or am I all done? She says "it looks like you're all done. Dismissed, I guess". To make sure, I call the Tulsa municipal court clerks office. They said "no, you are NOT done. You were put on a payment plan due in January. $1000. You can't pay over the phone or online. You need to get the disposition paperwork from your lawyer." OK, lol. Well, for 3 days straight I called the lawyers office daily, was told they'll leave "Vicky" a message to call me, that they'll tell her it's "urgent". I still have not heard back. This was over a week ago. I went ahead and paid at city hall so it's all done. It looks like I paid Wirth $1250 to have my warrants quashed and then they completely forgot about me, not telling me anything, actively avoiding me even, Here I am a month later and still have not heard back from them, I doubt I will.

She already got a new car from the insurance company then claimed to want thousands for lost wages, which was silly and easily proven false (had we gone to trial). My insurance retained a much better law firm and it was settled for MUCH less AND he took 50% PLUS attorney's fees according to the court papers, leaving his client with next to noting! He also dragged the case out for nearly two years before settling and would likely have been awarded $0 by a jury. His dragging it out didn''t bother me, but his client definitely came up short in this case! Beware...you get what you pay for....or don't pay for!
