This is possibly the worst State Farm office I have ever dealt with. I have three properties in the DFW area and this office dealt with insuring all of them. Not only have they incorrectly overcharged numerous times (making a huge mess of my escrow accounts), they are also now stating I cancelled coverage when I have over 150 emails with their various representatives stating the exact opposite. I have spent countless hours trying to remedy simplistic policies that they can never seem to get correct. Best believe I am billed though, and incorrectly, and overcharged almost every time. I am now being billed over $2500 for them dropping the ball by my mortgage company. I have cancelled all policies and gone to competitors except for one and will be cancelling that policy along with my car insurance and my rider policy for due to their blaring negligence. Close to $10K a year in insurance I have now found cheaper policies with much more competent companies. I have submitted a formal complaint with T.D.I and am consulting an counsel for the next course of action. Ray Scott is also CC'd on all my emails and is aware of these issues. Not once has he chimed in, offered an apology, remedy, or even a phone call to rectify these issues. read more

LITERALLY THE WORST insurance company I've ever had. Had to fight with StateFarm to cover claims, dragged on for months. Never fully paid my claims. My billing was different EVERY SINGLE MONTH which is not how it's supposed to be. I basically had to call every month and ask why or have them adjust it. Cynthia at Ray's office is rude and yelled at me on the phone because she was tired of telling me why was bill was messed up. Found out today I've been driving around without insurance Bc they decided to not renew my policy as of March 13th. NO ONE CALLED ME. Cynthia claims she called to let me know and left VMS but I have ZERO VMs or calls from her. I WILL NEVER USE STATEFARM AGAIN and warn anyone against this office. read more

I messaged him about getting a quote for my homeowner's and auto policy, and he immediately scheduled a call to introduce himself and get some general information. He is incredibly professional and thorough. Ray noticed that our homeowner's policy did not provide adequate coverage, so now that we are with State Farm, our house is properly covered! He was able to find us savings on our auto (even with the purchase of a brand new vehicle) so the increase to our homeowner's premium was not significant. After docs were signed, Ray made sure that I knew that he was just a phone call or email away. He was able to get me auto, renter's, and life insurance for the same monthly cost I was paying for just auto when I was with Progressive. Their customer service is horrid and full of "space cadets". I have worked with multiple people here and they all seem to forget everything they say they will do as soon as you hang up the phone. A simple document take 3 phone calls to obtain, even when they say "I'll send it over right away". Beyond that there are more troubling concerns such as incorrect coverage amounts being listed and creation of duplicate policies when all I requested was a simple change. read more

Promised to send a beacon for a safe driving discount - I've had the policy for 6 months, never got a beacon. Mistakes with both policies that were enrolled in. Asked for them to be corrected - he doesn't care, he made his money from acquiring a new policy - nothing ever got done. The only thing he cares about (and the only thing that he is consistent about asking for) is asking for referrals. Let's just say that I was not surprised when I searched this agent on Yelp to find such negative reviews. I'm not sure that words can explain how horrible my experience was with this office. I originally called the main state farm number to set up my policy and had a WONDERFUL experience. Very kind and spent a lot of time explaining coverages to me. About a month and a half ago I attempted to add my fiance to my policy. He already had insurance with State Farm in Florida and we need to transfer him to a Texas Agent. I spent weeks with Zach trying to get information from this office on what our coverages are to make sure they are the legal amount. Zach assured me on numerous occasions that the coverage was correct and the cost was correct for insurance on both vehicles/drivers AND renters insurance. I did some of my own research (as I am new to Texas and multi-driver/vehicle policies) and received some conflicting information. Zach never returned my calls but would email me information that I asked for a few days after my request. Eventually, I decided to directly ask for Justin, the manager, by name after doing a little research online. Justin was kind and friendly, but I even verified costs and coverages with him on the phone numerous times and was still mislead. A few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail that was almost FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS per month OVER the price he gave me at the end of our phone call. The first time I called and complained he called me after office hours to discuss and I was impressed with the customer service I received. He did not have an answer for me, so he promised to call me in the morning after talking to the underwriter and even said "I will not leave you hanging". The next day he never called, but sent me a late email saying unfortunately that bill was correct. I emailed him back and he said he would do his best to reduce the premium and call me back the next day. A few days later I received a much lower bill in the mail, but still no call or explanation.1 week later I still had not heard anything, so I called once again and left a message with the receptionist. He emailed me after hours once again saying that he had to leave early for an event so he would call me the next day to answer my questions. I asked how to switch agents and he told me I would need to submit a request through the office,which I did, and that it would take 5-7 business days. 7 Business days later, I called again and was told it had been started, but will take 10-15 MORE business days. Eventually I called corporate and the switch was initiated within 5 minutes. Communication is a serious problem in this office and is very concerning. It took me almost a month just to add my spouse to my policy and I am still not sure what I am paying for. Word of advice: add both policies at once or use another agent. Actually just use another agent. read more
