I'm new in Dallas (and in country as well) so i know nothing about insurance in US and how to choose it so i go to Yelp and try to find agent who works with several insurance companies. The Phoenix insurance was with the best rating. I don't trust ratings a lot because they can be forged but i had no other criteria to choose. I've just bought a car and i need auto insurance as soon as possible to get rid of rental and start driving my own car. I came to them on Friday around 5 pm (its bad thing to make people work at Friday night but i had no choice, sorry :)) Next hour Joe (my new agent) spent explaining me everything i need to know about insuranse in US and trying to find the best solution for my complicated situation. Leaving their office half past six, i've been told to wait till Monday so i've benn ready to extend my car rent for another 3-4 days. When i've came home i got a call from Joe with info about my new insurance with very reasonable price. next almost hour we finish all paper work online and i got my insurance. Earlier this year, I had some issues with water leaks from negligent residents in apartments over my mortgaged condo (tip: avoid buying a condo underneath renters). Long story short, my old insurer could not recognize these incidents as not my fault, and proceeded to jack my premiums way up. So I went shopping. These guys not only got me better coverage on my unit for less than I was paying *before* my original water damage claims, they found me an equivalent auto policy to the one I had before for a third less too. So about a week and a half later I've got a four-figure check reimbursing me in advance for my hiked escrow payments--and to say that was a relief is an understatement. The Phoenix Insurance is a great group. Having moved from California to Texas, I did some research on the internet and narrowed it down to a few insurance companies, TPI being one of them. I called to get quotes from all three and although all quotes were similar, TPI did their best to get me the best rates which did come out to be a bit cheaper. I have been with the Phoenix agency for several years. I insure my sports cars, my boat, my personal automobile, my house and my personal liability policy through them. Each year just prior to the renewal Jason calls me and we discuss what the policy's will cost and why. Many times he has a different company that offers the same coverage but at a lower price--something that i have never had another agency do.
